If you like military games that have a realistic aspect to them but aren't quite a full fledged military sim, this is the game for you.

I've played this game ever since it came out. I preordered it, I played it for 36 hours nonstop until I couldn't do any more, I honestly love this game. I've played through it twice and have almost 110 hours on it. I played Mafia 1 and Mafia 2 before this and loved it. The driving to me feels great, the gunplay can be a little repetitive but GTA gunplay or COD gunplay can get old as well. The story, damn, it's a really engaging story set during 1968 in the New Orleans. The characters have great personalities and relationships with the main character Lincoln Clay that make the story just too good to forget. The Mafia series is all about the story anyways. This game on Steam mainly has a lot of negative reviews because the first day it came out, the game could only run at 30 fps max and people gave it bad reviews just for that. Which really they should've finished the game before they wrote a review
because shortly after, they raised the fps up to 60. The DLC was pretty good but lacked length in its story. It took me about 2 hours to finish each DLC. If you buy and play the game or giving it another try, play the DLC's inbetween the main story so you won't feel like it is getting repetitive. Otherwise it is a great game and trust me, if you were a fan of any of the previous Mafia titles, I think you will enjoy this game a lot. SCORE: 9/10

In my opinion this is one of the greatest CODs there is. It was the predecessor to BO1 and BO2 campaign story and it created the whole zombies franchise in COD. The gameplay is smooth and many people still play the game. 10/10

This game is so awesome! I have played all the other DOOM games and this fits right in, fast gameplay, NO reloading, and lots of blood. Someone's gonna hate me for saying this but I really like the double jump and glory kills. It's a hell of a great game! (Pun not intended)

I love this game, it is so awesome! This game is close to being the number one game on my list.
