Gonna leave a review here just to give an honest perspective of the game from someone who actually played the game and didn't just assume based on public opinion.

The Good :

Game play is very fluid , typically fast paced once you unlock your movement skills , 'questing' through the campaign is a slog but it seems to be the nature of the arpg is to follow a story and get you to follow a linear world until 'endgame'. This is where the game just absolutely shines, end game is a loop that feels great to get into, very poe esque with a mapping style system but a nice little curve ball with RNG based cards that you have to upgrade over time in order to inevitably use those to increase your rewards. Mapping currencies drop, where you can reward yourself with good combinations of end game card usage combined with the mapping currencies .

Skills seem pretty straight forward, you will typically use one damage ability with a combination of a movement skill as well as multiple aura's , combine that with the skill trees of the characters and you have a solid little game to design a character around.. while many builds are already well thought out and the meta is pretty figured out, it doesn't stop you from attempting different combinations to have fun and push your creativity to find results.

Crafting is rather refreshing, pretty deterministic but theres RNG that sometimes can you leave you frustrated and yet you are extremely satisfied when that switch hits just right. I feel as though they have done very well with this aspect of the game, its very feasible to gradually create a stronger character and you can do so fairly easily if you just take your time and do it the right way.

The bad :

UI is in my opinion just absolutely dreadful. This comes with the understanding that the game is designed for mobile but playing this on PC right now with the UI that currently exists ... it's just extremely frustrating and is one of the few games ive ever played where it makes me feel bad for playing it because of the UI.

Auction house is not the entire worst aspect of the game but the fact that you really can't sort by price and the UI is just again absolutely miserable.. doesn't make me a big fan. I think when comparing the economic state of the game to something like POE , both systems feel similar in the fact that the market will ultimately have a relative supply and demand cost but when you can't sort it , it's a feels bad. Currently I assume this will change in time, but the UI is just so bad on everything in this game that I really hate having to be bothered to even use the damn thing.

The confusion :

So the BIGGEST CRITIQUE of the game. (at least in review sense) is pay to win. I honestly don't see a single angle where you pay to get any type of win in this game. The entire point of arpg's is to explore creating these characters and pushing them to their limits. The game offers a healthy end game with challenging boss fights that you personally can explore and conquer through free to play methods without question. The notion that the game is P2W seems to be a complete tidal wave that people ride when they simply see a cash shop option in a video game. First and foremost people need to understand that the game is free which means that money has to be generated through some type of sources. There are plenty of MTX for skills character etc to make the money on, and there's some gacha pet system that really doesn't give you enough justifiable power to consider dropping money into to get an outcome great enough to justify your spent money.

Final note on this topic i've put many hours into this game and leveled myself into the mid 90's to experience the highest and hardest content in the game, I've enjoyed every moment of it and never even considered the cash shop. Any review calling the game P2W is someone who clearly has not invested themselves enough to explore the game for what it really is and they are misleading you.
