Just another faction quest-line, like the Vanguard, or Crimson Fleet/Sysdef. That's it.

I do like Va'ruun'kai and the fact that the quests all take place in the region rather than off-planet. They got that right. I'd also say that the story was alright. I wasn't blown-away, but I did enjoy a lot of the House Va'ruun lore additions and the new equipment. It is very much in-line with the base-game content, so if that's your thing, then sure pick it up (but ideally... wait for a sale. $30 USD is pretty high for what's included). There isn't really anything that has been added that feels new.

I'm not sure what I expected really, new gameplay elements like new powers (which there weren't any), but there wasn't much outside of some anti-gravity bubbles or teleportation goop. The best thing to happen to Starfield recently wasn't this DLC, but the Rev-8. Bethesda having a decent land vehicle (outside of gigantic controversial mods for New Vegas) in a creation engine game is actually kind-of impressive. I guess that's my bar, I want to see something like that added.

I like Bethesda's titles, even this game, but I really, really want them to nail this stuff for whatever comes next, be that more Starfield, Fallout, or TES 6.
