Beginning is 10/10, later you notice its still early acces and it falls of to more 6~7/10. But there are regular updates brining new content improving the endgame.

Doest even recognize 360 controller, and when you finally get the controller recognized it randomly stops working when you alt tab, also the price is way too high.

Edit:
The controller stops working when pc is put into standby, restart fixes it. Still not acceptable for a PC remaster.

The online modus is way more populated then in the original though, so if you like to coop or pvp, this might be worth it for you.

This game is the reason Early Access has a bad name, years later and its still in early access and nothing substantial seems to have changed. It looks horrendeous, feels incredibly clunky and combat is not fun at all due to the hitboxes being ♥♥♥♥. The core idea of the game is good and it could actually be fun to build a base with friends to survive the zombie hordes but if you combare this game to sth as polished as valheim or minecraft you just end up severly disapointed.
All in all this is just a game that might have been fun 10 years ago but is just not up to todays standard.

An actually good remake of a classic.

This Teaser is like christmas coming early. A gothic remake is a dream come true. Having played trough this im am excited and hope for the full remake to be releases soon. This game manages to capture the Gothic Spirit in my opinion, A couple things i have noticed though:

-It feels weird to fight a fully grown snapper so early, consider renaming it to "Wounded Snapper" or sth, and add some lore that Bloodwyn fought him earlier for example, similiary, it feels wierd to fight a gardist without even having a proper weapon (although he is already wounded). Maybe show his sword breaking fighting the other guy or sth

-An attack on the exchange post would have dire consequences in the World of Gothic. It feels weird that only Diego, Bloodwyn and one Gardist are sent to investigate. Consider adding some more nameless Gardsts searching the flaming remains. Also this better play an important role in the story later on, cause this should have massive consequences.

-Remove the invisible borders. Especially around water. They make the world feel much to linear

-The hero should whine a little bit less. Its Gothic.

Best Total War so far.. even though i dont even like the japanese setting.
Really satisfying and fun to beat the game on highest difficulty.
