Very good app, and totally worth the asking price.

After 800~ hrs strongly recommended. it is also solo friendly.
Iceborne is pretty much mandatory and a great expansion.

+ Great attention to detail. tons of content. first 200 hrs I only had scratched the surface of this game.

- can be overly grindy for optional stuff to the point of tediousness (long and tedious gear decoration farming, abysmal spawn rates for some rare pets, finding large / small monster specimens for achievements)

great but in many aspects not as good as the first. it's still a worthy sequel by today's standards, just felt tad rushed and bit smaller in scope than its predecessor.
I just hope they ll deliver awesome content with the 2 expansions, like they did with h1.

performance wise with dx 12 it plays great, avoid dx 11 if possible.
dx 12 brings huge performance gains in many stages.
--------------

for newcomers, use hitman 2 to play the legacy stages,
the old game is available as free dlc for hitman 2, if you own first game.

no need to write something about the game XD
remaster is well done. I really wish all great adventures get this treatment at some point, and activision (sierra) lucas et al. remaster every great adventure. its a genre they can do so relatively easy and very well.

I cant say I like the idea of always online or the drm it packs and i hope they remove it eventually. But in terms of content its really impressive and it may be the best game I ve seen in several years and most likely the best hitman game.
Every sandbox is very well done and most are really impressive. Episodic release fits hitman really well actually and nothing feels rushed here.
There is a good ingame achievement system that motivates players to take several or even many approaches which add to replayability. You ll need a good ammount of hours before you can say you ve seen everyhing in a sandbox. newcomers, theres no need to know the story or even play the previous games. Though blood money still holds well enough if you want more XD

TL;DR Can't wait for season 2--- 10/10

I just finished the game.
4 more hrs till xmas sale ends. and if you re on the fench about it, imo just get it.
If you are somewhat into philosophy, storys gonna feel very enjoyable.
Its a very big game , at least if you bother reading texts. Actually id like it to be somewhat shorter, as a dozen puzzles were bit tedious and frustrating, but it never became a big issue.
I havent played gehenna yet and there are extra maps and mods in workshop, so if you enjoy it you can find lots of content, well more than the average AAA game, even with base game only.
And yeah its probably the closest thing to portal done so far. Not that much in level design but in mentality.

awesome and huge - much bigger than the first -also great editor and tons of mods.
old school rpg fans will surely enjoy it- I really cant think of any better classic single player rpgs in the last decade than both grimrocks

I II only cover PVE aspect and so far I only did solo

I mostly did this review somewhat early because i guess many people are on the fench with current hib and not all interested in battleborn pvp.

in short
I cant say pve content is huge, but at least for the hardcore botherlands fan, the $15 humble bundle pricetag is a great deal even for the story missions alone,
You should expect at the very least 20 and id say more than 40 hrs of great fun from pve alone ,without feeling that it becomes old and tedious.
if you want to grind for gear or replay with many chars you re looking at much bigger playtime. And theres always the chance you ll enjoy pvp

note that even solo happens online theres no offline mode

-------------------
more details about story

there are 8 large missions - surely you ll need close to a couple hours each on your first solo playthrough .
They are really well made and fun -imo on par with best borderlands moments-and actually with many unique mechanics and twists i wanna see into borderlands 3 :)

there are many characters with very different weapons skills & playstyles - 2 difficulties - solo and solid coop options so theres good replayability without missions becoming boring, after the first playthrough.
i have to also mention that the voice acting and humour is top notch just like in bordelands- and there are many alternative versions of dialogue each time you replay- so i ve heard many new great lines, jokes and laughed alot even during my 3rd playthrough of a mission.

lastly you may feel some lack of context at start and you will get bombed with a ton of unknown names and locations- it doesnt really matter- theres no deep storyline in BB tbh- but
ill throw some links with backstory that will put things in order.
they were really well hidden in gbx site XD and actually they should had done a nice introductory vid with that backstory

tldr I cant recommend enough both bastion and transistor-they are @ 80% off for the weekend and they re a steal for that price
---

I just finished transistor twice, and i loved it-
fantastic art awesome soundtrack and unique setting--it feels alot like its bastions dark alter ego.
at first mechanics may seem bit strange, but make sense after a while.

sidenote- achievements in both games are very fun and challenging and actually add to the experience- so dont rush these games, do your 2 playthroughs (you retain level and gear for the 2nd) ) and grab them all--

PS i used controller so i have no idea how they play with k/b + mouse

update: this review has nothing to do with Secret World legends. It was for the buy to play version, without any freemium characteristics. I never played Legends
---------------------------------------------

there should be a complete edition soon including everything up to issue 15 - its already avail on Funcom site-not yet on steam however

i wouldnt recommend vanlla at this point unless one only wants to solo main quest -- which is several hundred hours btw. it lacks most of the current endgame, and upgrading is not a cost effective option, so most end up rebuying the big version after a while.

all in all game surely has some issues but overall content is huge and of great quality.
I could easily say its one of the best RPGs ever made.
I won't go into a detailed review.I think the game is at least good enough to give the 10 day trial a go and shape your own opinion about TSW---see forums how to get it.

Only thing i ll say about tsw content,is that before buying I was very sceptical about the setting - i mean illuminati, templars, starsigns and mumbo jumbo....seriously? not my cup of tea.
But after playing, i realized the fact that TSW doesnt take that stuff entirely seriously either and actually it balances satire with seriousness really really well.

Anyway long story short and after playing for a while, I can now safely say its my favorite RPG setting by far and away.
