I am already having a blast with this game and expect to enjoy it for 200+ hours. I expect Shiro will continue their track record of timely updates and I'll purchase any future DLC Day 1. The mix of 4X and RTS works wonderfully and I find myself making lots of interesting decisions while playing.

On a side note, if you're considering purchasing this game and noticing recent negative reviews, note that many of these are the result of a new faction lead by a Black female causing racist trolls to melt down. Please ignore these reviews and support a developer taking positive liberties with a fictional universe.

Keep up the great work Shiro and well done!

I've enjoyed this game over the last 2 years and know I will play it for years to come. The developers put a lot of time and effort into this release and are guaranteed to support the game well into the future with creative updates. If you're a fan of turn based games or roguelikes, you've found the right place and it's a must buy!

So, I broke my foot this week and decided to pick this up while recuperating and so glad I did. The Spelunky Showlike (now Eggplant: The Secret Lives of Games) podcast were always raving about this game. Figuring out the nuances of what makes this game tick has been the highlight of my week. I've struggled just to get to World 3 a handful of times only to die quickly. Yeah, it's a hard game. Yeah, there's some luck involved. But, having the mystery in front of me of what weird things the developers put in the future worlds keeps me plugging away.

On a side note, there isn't a way to save during a run which people complain about in the reviews/comments. I understand where they're coming from, but at the same time, I like the idea that when I sit down with the game, you're committed to it. Your run might last 10 minutes or 45+ minutes, but you're in for the haul.

Highly recommended. Thanks!

I played this game on the recommendation of Sin Vega from Rock Paper Shotgun on the itch.io Black Lives Matter bundle. I liked it so much I bought it on Steam to compensate the developer for creating such a fun game and supporting a great cause. I'm a big fan of roguelikes of all shapes and sizes and this one fits the bill for a deep small scale experience. A lot of love and thought was put into this game and it repeatedly shows. I can see myself enjoying this game for some time and would recommend you give it a go!

I picked up this game on the recommendation from Jupiter Hell developer Kornel Kisielewicz and from listening to the game's developer on the Roguelike Radio podcast. I'm glad I did!

I beat the game on Easy mode using the Soldier and I look forward to returning to play through with the remaining characters and trying out the harder difficulty. It took me about 5 hours of playtime to beat the game on Easy and I would recommend that difficulty for starting out to get used to the game mechanics.

This game is really fun and challenging while not being so obtuse that you have to constantly consult a wiki. It's also not so basic that there isn't mystery, discovery and learning happening as you play.

I'm really happy I picked this game up and I could see myself sinking 50+ hours into it over time. Well done!

After only 3 hours I've had a ton of fun with this game and will probably play it for 20+ more. It was obviously made with a lot of care. If you like roguelikes and Peggle buy this game and support the developers. Side note...a good game to take your mind of coronavirusness.

I have had so much fun with this game. I love rogue-likes in general. This one is casual, but there's still plenty of strategic decisions. Kudos to the developer for continuing to add updates to refine the game. Looking forward to any expansions. Support the game by paying full price. I've already put in over 20 hours and it's certainly worth $4.99.

As a Kickstarter entry level backer, I know I'm a little more vested in this game than someone discovering it for the first time, but I'm having a blast with this game. Concrete Jungle has great atmosphere (graphics and sound), challenging strategy, and just the right amount of randomization to keep me coming back to give it another go. Well done Cole Jefferies!
