I mean its Dota. I've played League HOTS and Smite as well. Switched from League to Dota after Season 3 of League and have played a total of 5 League games since. Yeah it's going to take you 100 hours to get the basics but once you do you'll probably never play another ARTS again.

This mod is very well done. Its obvious attention and effort were put into this and its not just old Half-Life textures. It took me about 90 minutes on Hard mode and I say it was definitely worth the time and the ending was very satisfying. There is a lot of corridor crawling, some puzzle solving, and well done combat sections.

The maps were well designed and have some smart backtracking options so don't worry too much about not being able to get back somewhere if you're the kind of person who explores everything.

Only downside is the guitar rift playing from the stereos strewn throughout the map gets annoying but that might be by design!

10/10 recommended because its free if you own Half-Life. I would probably buy the game for a few dollars and I might buy the plunger skin that they released for 3 dollars to support the devs.
