Excellent concept, could be a great game in time. But right now? It's more of a tech demo than a full game worth 35$ as of now. If you do buy it now, you're doing it because you like the concept and want to see the game develop more. But, save your money if you're expecting a game worth 35 dollars, and wait to see how things play out. Once I can in good faith start recommending this game, this'll be changed to a positive review. I'm in this for the long haul.

Right, immediate controversy has passed, but now it's time to see if Sony will keep their word after backpedaling their decision. Leaving this as a negative review until Sony proves they won't try that ♥♥♥♥ again.

Edit 2/20/24: Dev's have officially jumped ship and abandoned development of the game despite promising updates. Save your money, the game is dead.

Spent the better part of a year playing this game as part of a regiment, regularly attending events. I'll have plenty of good memories of that time, and plenty of bad ones. Regimental history is irrelevant, however. The important thing is that development history for this game since then is basically nothing; few updates, if any, promises of updates that never came, promises of new regiments and uniforms that never came, and when the time came for the game to finally get a major update, performance issues increased in exchange for effectively minimal improvements. Cavalry was added, sure, and a few other things, but overall it was not what one would expect after a year's worth of development from a team of multiple people. I've seen other games with single developers undergo more changes and more regular updates than this game has with an entire dev team to back it. As of now, the game is, quite simply, dead. Not because the community didn't try, but because the developers simply failed to give the community any faith that the game was going to do anything but shrivel up and die. For the sake of anyone who reads this review after 5/20/2023, do not buy this game until further notice. It would be a waste of your money, even if they've seemingly permanently reduced the price from 30 dollars to a mere 10. At best you'll find one or two servers that aren't commander battles populated by 1-3 people, and one commander battles server populated with a grand total of 10 people. To be frank; you'd be better off getting any other game than this as it stands.

10/10 would play this fun but rage inducing game again

Seriously, this is American Truck Simulator but it's not just point a to b delivering, it's actually got a challenge/point to it.

Fun game, worth it if it's on sale. Good for messing around and blowing time.

Great game, all it takes is 2 well placed torpedoes and you've gotten a kill.
