great game.

Too complex for a game with 2-mins rounds. They thought of every aspect of how to get the money from the customer; but did not spend a second to think how to come up with an entertaining game.

NL made me buy this.

This game can only be a mini-game inside the original Isaac game. Lacks so much. The music, the variety, the menu, subtitles. Yes, the gameplay duration for a run is reasonable, though it's all animations and cutscenes. The gameplay is like 5% of the total run, if you don't count the matching times. Yes, it's a match-tile game, but it's not as interactive as I wanted. I expected more from a game that prequels a reasonably good game.

I don't think any content update's coming as well, if you checked out End is Nigh. Yes, they updated Isaac thanks to its fan base, but the content won't simply come to a more niche game. I don't like the idea of wait-and-see approach when it comes to content updates. The devs might update the game, and I might be seen as a fool; I just don't believe they will except some quality-of-life updates. I appriciate the effort, but it's not up to my expectations. Sorry.
