I can't believe I spent 3 hours on first game launch... Its good, the price is fair to cheap. As simple to play as VSurvivors with a coat of good old times in space games

An average Anime Souls Like.

Combat is satisfying, Weapons can have different combat animations even if part of the same type, creating unique experiences even if you focus on one kind only.

Elemental damage is poorly implemented, do not rely on it.

Having a timer and a health pool that carries over, with no upgrades to speak off, makes for a poor experience.
Controls are stiff specially with newer controllers... discovering that you can double tap to run and how hard it is to actually do it is a pain

It is a smaller City Builder than most, with simple product chains and even simpler combat and diplomacy. Even so it retains a certain charm and the city trully looks cool by endgame. Runs very well with no issues what so ever.

I tried, I really tried, but this is the definition of a interesting game DROWNING in so many tiny issues you reach a point of stress that completelly undermines the experience.

Visual glitches, sound glitches, key input lagging or not registering at all and a very very poor performance make this game a clear no.

Unfortunately too there is no mod work or player patches to mitigate the abandonment this game received from the devs. It seems the console versions suffered the same fate, sadly.

The game is 2 years old and even so received an absurdly huge update that adds so much to an already great game. Do yourself a favor and get this one

I don't get the absurd amount of complaints this game gets.... Its cheap, has a simple mechanic (Snake with combat).
Games are not forever, this game is complete and fun for the price point. Development has stopped and that is ok, devs are not beholden to eternal updates.

Grab the game, have 5+ hours of fun gameplay, go eat something and that is it.

Graveyard Keeper is a nice game with a good deal of content, yet suffers a bit from writing that does not match the gameplay standard it sets.

The story poses an interesting premisse that does not get enough loose ends properly arranged as the game (and its DLCs) end, leaving a lot for a potential final expansion or new entry to a series. At this point I'd say do not get the game for its story bits.

With that being said, the gameplay loop is quite charming, expecially with all the dlc, giving you a considerable tech tree and several different activities to fullfill, not to mention an "unusual" means of automation (you ARE a graveyard keeper with unusual resources after all).

If you want to get busy with management and a good deal of tasks and upgrades, this is a game for you. You will need the wiki open by the way, some things are poorly explained and Blue Tech is a bit confusing for first time players.
