I love this game, I only have a couple of specific gripes but it's amazing as a solo player, buy it and just play it. It's really good and priced very fairly, a bit grindy although for those of which who don't like the grind I personally think you'll still enjoy it, heck play it with friends and I imagine the grind goes away and it'd be even more fun. It's got familiar mechanics from other games you've played and new ones for you to explore and enjoy.

The spoilers seem a bit specific to players that have not bought the game so please ignore. Also a good note 0 PVP was experienced once during the 250+ hrs a real credit to how good the game is alone.

If you like top downs or have never played one before this game is for you, this was my first and I was immediately hooked over a year ago, with what they've added and all the quality of life additions there's only more reason to play. I play this alone without friends and have an absolute blast. It has game mechanics you don't really see in other games the blood mechanic being one of the main ones and it's a breath of fresh air. I couldn't be more happy with this game and I will continue to play every update and yell at my monitor every now and again because its worth it. I had much difficulty playing this game my first run through and every one after that has only been easier although just as enjoyable especially with the new content they seem to be pumping out.

I honestly didn't really have anything to put here apart from one minor issue I have in my playthroughs. Some bloods do feel overly useless as they have very specific use cases, one that comes to mind is the worker blood. Most of the time I end up wasting it on clearing enemies instead of actually using it for farming because everywhere you farm there's enemies. You can get one good wipe of an area as you can clear then drink the blood but then it feels grossly underutilised as now I have 9.5L of blood still left and if I go to a new area, I now have to use it clearing enemies which is harder because of the nature of the blood.

Getting 100% scholar to min-max is crazy, I've spent 10 hours (with much enthusiasm) trying to get it clearing all scholars in major areas with no luck, I think it's a tad insane to not be able to achieve this in 10 hours, a creative solution would be much appreciated.

The new armour sets invite an amazing new way to explore and plunder making spells you wouldn't typically go for very inviting and much more useful. So many good combinations of blood/gear spice this up significantly for mid-lateish game. The new items and areas also spark life into a game I already had 250+ hours in which is amazing to see. The addition of passives is amazing although for a solo they can be grindy its not that bad when you're kitted correctly and it doesn't take THAT many runs if you enjoy games to sink your free time into. Achievements are a fantastic addition even if I had done everything in there that was pre 1.0, I get to enjoy the grind and actually 'achieve' it finally and boast to all of my non-existent friends. Sorting of chests is so much easier and I couldn't be happier as well as all the new looks everything has.

Dracula got nerfed but that was definitely it a huge spike in difficulty for no apparent reason and you couldn't even get the armour :/ but issue no longer!!
