The way I described this game to my friends is that it "watches you coldly as you decay". And I still hold to that description. It does not watch out of anger, pity, or some kind of cold calculated indifference. It simply watches because it knows that pain. And it knows you can stop at any time. Close it. Walk away. But you don't. So it simply sits and watches you, struggling in the cold decay to keep your emotions in tact, and silently lets you know you are not alone. Because it knows why you continue. We made a promise.
