Decided to try the game real quick before bed and then it was 4am.
Was certain I was going to die on the first boss and terrified my sleeping dog when I shouted YES! with my fists in the air, beating it with the tiniest sliver of health left.

10/10 would traumatize my dog again.

Whew...

It's worth it.

There are many, many times where I got lost, wandered for an inordinate amount of time, didn't know what to do next, wanted to pummel the screen and cursed the devs hoping they would get pimples in embarassing and sensitive places...but it was worth it.

Maps would have made things a much less frustrating experience, but overall, I recommend it. If you have it, play it. If you don't, watch a let's play.

If you like older, turn-based Final Fantasy style games with a healthy dose of humor, you will very likely like this.

I love those games, I love this, and hope S/E will put out more games like it.

If you have accessibility issues/hand problems, this game is VERY accomodating with alternate controls/and multiple buttons that activate the same action.

Some of the features I really liked:
Turn based combat
A simple, 1 button "heal your party efficiently when out of combat" mechanic
Being able to tell some characters/the whole party to fight intelligently on their own when just beating some garbage mobs
Being able to take control of them again at any given time
Design that seems to favor fun over punishment
Adjustable difficulty (able to be set at the beginning - but able to be taken off at any time) for those wanting a more difficult experience
Really enjoyable characters

One of the few games I have bought for full price recently and I don't regret it at all. Great game.

Mar-28-2019 - Updated Review
I originally posted a negative review based on a horrible popup delivery system for ads for another project the developer was working on. That system has been removed and the developer later apologized (Thread pinned in community hub). The comments up to Feb 4, 2019 are in response to the negative review and will be left as-is as any negative threads at the time were quickly deleted. There is now a small ad asking the user to "Check Out Rainway" on the menu bar which is only seen when adding/removing a program and never needs to be clicked.

The app is simple, it does one thing and it does it well. It takes windowed games and makes them full screen borderless. The interface is very simple. On the left are running programs, move any you want to be borderless full screen to the right. From that point on, whenever you run that program, it will pop up full screen. To stop it from doing so, remove it from the right side.

If the game changes the window name (like Everquest 2 does every time they push a new version), it will need to be re-added to the list, but it only takes about 5 seconds from a tray window.

It is worth noting that the app can be downloaded for free from github.

WAS a great app that did what it was supposed to UNTIL it added unwanted POPUP ADWARE. Hopefully the dev knocks this crap off and reverts the program back to what it was supposed to do and not open unwanted, unsolicited ads in a paid program.

Will not reward this kind of behavior and suggest others not as well. Slipping crap in like this on something that was paid for is complete BS.

Fantasy Grounds is a great tool for role playing online.

When I first tried it, I have to admit, I was a bit overwhelmed. It has a lot of bells and whistles, a lot of things you can do with it, a lot of automation you can use. It was a bit of a learning curve, but once I got used to it and played around with it, I was impressed with what you could do with it.

While it may be considered a bit on the pricy side, it's price is very comperable to the cost of the books you would normally be buying to play the games, it gets updated quite often, and if you simply don't want to pay for it - download the trial, and play with a game master that has an Ultimate License. That gives you a fully functioning client and you play for free. The amount of built in tools and automation for games like D&D 5e is amazing as well. You can use as much or as little as you like.

The conversions I have purchased have been very well done and worth the money I paid for it. Having everything ready for me in the program, but fully modifiable is very much worth it.

If you decide to give it a try, do yourself a favor and go to the forums and get involved. There are a lot of great people that play, there are events like FG Con, and lots going on that you can be a part of.

As someone that doesn't have the ability to sit down around a gaming table with a group irl much anymore, this has allowed me to enjoy one of my favorite pasttimes again. If you are a tabletop rpg enthusiast, I highly recommend it.

As an avid watcher of the series and fan of Game of Thrones in genral, I found this series quite enjoyable thus far (only missing 2 chapters at this time) and find the characters interesting and storyline engaging. If you enjoy Telltale style story games and Game of Thrones, it's hard to go wrong with this.

I am loving this program! I have made a number of macros to fire off different abilities that are difficult to reach/a pain while being able to focus more on the game instead of the controls. As someone with carpal tunnel, I really appreciate the amount of stress that it takes off my hands, allowing me to enjoy gaming longer.

I have been using DisplayFusion for a few years now, picked it up before it ever came to Steam. While it is true you can do multi-monitor configuration via windows settings, Display Fusion has a lot of settings and utilities that are very handy and make it a breeze.

Some of the things I enjoy using it for:
Spanning screen savers
Quick and easy wallpaper adjustments (resizing, repositioning, etc)
Multiple, seperate taskbars
Window snapping between monitors

All in all, it makes multi-monitor management a lot less of a hassle and adds some functionality I wanted when I went looking for one. Also, over the past few years that I have been using it, they are often improving and updating it, all free of cost once owned.

It's simple (not easy), exciting, very fast paced, fun.

A very fun, old-style roguelike with lots of places to explore, quests to find and do and things to unlock. It has a good amount of felxibility in the permadeath department as well, ranging from Eploration (unlimited lives) to Roguelike (when they die, they die for good) with a bit of a middle ground which lets you earn extra lives at various levels.

The ability bar and cooldown system, which does away with consumables like potions in favor of reusable abilities which grant regeneration, bonuses to defense, mana restoration or a number of other things, is a very welcome addition and streamlines things nicely, so you can easily activate your special abilities and know where you stand on how long until it can be used again at a glance.

I'm very impressed with it and looking forward to exploring the secrets of Maj'Eyal.
