How I started gaming :
So I was about 6 or 7 when I got my first Gamecube with Lego Star Wars and The Legend of Zelda. I also had a Gameboy Color with Pokémon Red and Yellow. As the years passed I got more classic Gamecube titles like Super Smash Bros Melee, Super Mario Sunshine, Luigi's Mansion, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and a lot more. At one point I had a Gameboy Advanced with Super Mario World, which is still to date, my favorite Mario game, if not my favorite game of all time. I can't remember when, but I lost my Gameboy and later on replaced it with a Nintendo DS, with sweet titles like New Super Mario. Bros, Mario Kart DS, and Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass/Spirit Tracks. Of course, I still played old classics like Super Mario 64, Super Smash Bros, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask and Super Mario Bros. Early 2007/8, I started to consider playing computer games, so my parents let me play on their Mac, and at first I just played flash games or free online games. Some of my favorites were probably Stick Wars, Territory War, and Whirled. During this time, (2007/8), was when I was watcing Youtube, and it was probably the best time for them. Anyways, I saw some gamers on there that played cool games so I also played them (Runescape, and others I can't remember). Later on I got interested into MMORPG games like Runescape, but after about a year got bored of it and moved on back to making homemade films with my sister. After years of just playing online games and new DS games, I kind of took a break from games, and I signed up for some Kung Fu early 2011. I've been doing Kung Fu from 2011-2014, then stopped once school got more intense and demanding. Later on in 2011, my parents surprised my sister and I by getting us a Nintendo Wii, which was totally awesome. We only had Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort for the first few weeks then got sweet titles like Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and Wario Ware: Smooth Moves. Later on as I learned more, I began to pirate games such as Mario Kart Wii, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Red Steel 2, and Kirby's Return to Dreamland. In about 2012, I was thinking of getting an Xbox 360, but then decided to get a PS2. Had some fun with that, then decided to get back to playing some old games. Late 2012, I got my first 3DS along with Mario Kart 7, and then got Super Mario 3D Land, Pokémon Y, Mario and Luigi: Dream Team (Super Mario RPG 4), Animal Crossing: New Leaf, and Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. 2013, I just played my 3DS, Gamecube, Wii, and of course computer. Now I play emulated games, pirated games, console games, computer games, oh and I don't just play games I play the guitar, edit videos (Special effects), and hang out with my friends. So overall I miss my childhood because it felt better and the games and entertainment then was nostalgic and fun. Of course, I still love this gen's games, but I wish game companies made games nowadays that were as impacting as the ones from the 90's and early 2000's.
