This is my first attempt at a review that's more than a sentence or two, and I am by no means someone who is good at focusinug in on technical aspects. I am someone who loves to play video games.

First off, I hate platformers. I always did. I hated "fun games" that seemed laid back. I hated games that never posed a ridiculous challenge or seemed serious. This game is something else, though. I can't even begin to explain how simply beautiful it is. The art style is gorgeous. The soundtrack was wonderfully thought out and changed your emotions on a dime. There were endless secrets to find if you wanted to take the time to adventure back to where you started. The game ties gameplay together like a masterpiece; transversing the world is streamlined and enjoyable. Tears will be shed. I wouldn't be surprised if you had a new outlook on life.

All in all:
+Art style is fresh and vibrant
+Soundtrack is god tier and emotionally moving
+Addicting yet simple game mecahnics
+Streamlined
+Easy to collect everything, but not necessary by any means

-My ONLY gripe wtih this game is... SPOILER... Once an area is restored you CANNOT go back to complete it 100%. So get what you can before it's blocked off

I'm sure the devs wanted the game to be like that though, and once you have everything down the game itself could be beat within 6 or 7 hours easily.


11/10 would cry again
