Switched on the first person view and the game was just as good as the closed beta half a year ago. Did not try the Squad mode yet but with a couple of PS2 friends I'd probably really enjoy it too.

A lot of angry PlanetSide 2 fans (I have almost 6000 hours in PS2 btw) giving this game bad reviews, they just don't like BRs and expected PlanetSide 3. I almost used to be one of them, but this game is a very unique BR because it has jetpacks and no shotsguns, almost no (oneshotkill) snipers either (I'm guessing the legendary Daiymo can oneshotkill in the head?). The fact that I'm totally wrecking people should be good proof it's close enough to PS2 because I don't normally pull off stats like that in BRs.

It does have some minor flaws and glitches but nothing game breaking. Getting occasional freezes for ~2 minutes after dropping which I guess I'd almost consider game breaking but hey you can play safe the first two minutes, or just don't and go all in.

Some things I personally feel have changed since the jan closed beta are that since you drop with weapons you basically don't need to spend any time looting, just hunt planetmans and kill/loot them+legendary caches.

Still amazing and like no other game

While it might not be worth the price for everyone, I can just say the Tanoa map and performance on it is stellar. The new co-op campaign and how it's been made is also amazing even though the story and longevity is kind of lacking

The controls were way to annoying for me to enjoy this game... reload, shooting and moving works completely retarded and each of them interrupts the others a lot for example. Got the game from a ♥♥♥ random steam game code

This game is ridiculously frustrating. The worst thing about it is when you are playing a track where you either instantly fail or you instantly win and if you fail you have to wait 10 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ seconds to play again. They need to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ implement a faster way to restart a track. Also the piece of ♥♥♥♥ Ubisoft launcher is only exitable if you kill the process with the task manager or something. The game keeps running in steam because the launcher is running.

At first glance people might not take interest in this game at all. But once they play it I'm pretty damn sure they'll be smashingly surprised! This is sooo much more than survival mode in Left 4 Dead and soooo much more than zombie mode in CoD. There's a surprising amount of immersion and there are constantly moments of panick and playing this game alone would probably be quite scary for most people. I've played it for 3.4 hours currently and I have maybe progressed 0.5-1% through the 7 different classes that are in the game (maybe more with DLC?). I don't think there is anything negative at all in this game that I can think of except maybe the final boss in the final wave which are just boring and weird usually. And also the weird Trader girl which seems to be talking about a lot more than "big guns". So yeah, either you like the play style or you don't, gameplay wise there is NOTHING to complain about. Team play is also 100% key in this game.
