if you're a fan of undertale, omori, or oneshot, play this game. i am almost 100% sure that you will like it.

i was concerned about this game being grindy or tedious like some of the reviews mention, and that is true to an extent but it was never so much that it got annoying. the story is super well paced, the combat is consistently satisfying which is really important in a game like this, and most importantly, the details, worldbuilding, and story overall ruined my entire life. and i probably missed like half the content too, so much of this game is about seeing how things change and exploring under different circumstances.

This is a good mod to pick up if it's on sale. It only ran me about 3 hours worth of gameplay, and could probably be completed faster if you're better than I am. The puzzles are fun, engaging, and expand well upon Portal 2's gel mechanic. However, for the amount of content, I'd still recommend only picking this up when it's $1 on sale, as I don't think it warrants a full $5, especially when Portal Stories: Mel has more content and is free.

This is like if The Stanley Parable was a horror game. I think if you like OneShot and are okay with the horror aspect of this game, this would be right up your alley. Definitely spooky scary, but I'm glad I gave this game a try.

Good, short, and challenging. The most confusing part was the fact that this game canonically takes place about a week before the real life day that I actually played this (January 21st 2021 vs January 28th 2021).

I think for a short, free mod, this is very good. The voice acting has the charm of the official game, and the game is short, but in the limitations of VR, I think it works quite well. Because it's both in VR and in Unreal Engine as opposed to Source, the physics and assets aren't 100% faithful to the original game, but it's pretty hard to tell the difference.

Gameplay wise, while I am slightly disappointed that there are no actual portals, I think the ways they used other Portal mechanics makes up for it, and it's still an enjoyable experience. However, if you're looking for a Portal gameplay replica in VR, this doesn't quite make it.

My only gripe is that, although it does work on Oculus, you do have to set one of the executables to compatibility mode to get it to work, and the button press is replaced by clicking down on the stick. It's pretty minor though, so I'd still recommend this even if you do have an Oculus headset. I will admit this feels more like a demo than a game, but it's free, so I don't really care. Definitely a fun short game for VR owners!

I showed this to my 3rd grader and now he's so good at fractions his teacher's head exploded in the middle of class. 11/10

The only game where you can gaslight your friends and it's not an issue.

a very good, short puzzle game that i picked up because it was free and looked good. there are parts that will make you scream, and maybe even cry in anger, but it's all worth it for funny bee game. encountered one or two bugs where i had to reload, and one that made it difficult to progress, but again, it's all worth it for funny bee game.
