A 10 year anniversary update that doesn't include other people's work or expect you to buy the game again.

Early Access Review
Factorio is like a drug,

Offered to you by a mysterious hooded man in the dark recesses of a city block alleyway. He promises you something amazing, something that will change your very outlook on life, an escape from reality as you know it. You feel conflicted. A part of you tells you to turn away, forget what you have seen. However, another part of you reassures yourself. You won’t be like the rest, you won’t succumb to its pleasures, you won’t lose control. Everyone is doing it, you tell yourself, so why should you be any different? Besides... you can handle it.

As these thoughts race through your mind, the latter part of you wins out. You accept the stranger’s dark gift. At first, everything seems fine. This isn’t so bad, you tell yourself. Why were you so afraid to begin with? But subtly, things start to change. You realize that everything is at your disposal, to do with what you wish. You find yourself seeking more. More possibilities, more paths, more pleasure. But then you are wrenched away from it by the overbearing presence that is reality. Your time away from it seems endless. Hours feel like days, days feel like weeks. Every fiber of your being craves the moment you can return to it. And when you can finally indulge yourself in it once again, nothing else matters. Life becomes an eternal bliss. You have found your utopia.

Factorio is like a drug,

And I regret nothing.
