Get over that initial hump and you'll really enjoy it

People have been waiting so long to see a pc port that the community has already established p2p emulation. Capcom needed to to make a better online experience to compete with Fightcade, and they failed on the whole. There are some upsides though with a decent enough training mode and matchmaking. However, fightcade has a way more functional lobby system with ping, unlimited rematches, and in game chat. It's really just a matter of being too little too late to be worth the purchase when the latest game in this collection was published in 1999.
