And you thought Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes was overpriced...

Its summer, sales are going on. Half-Life series goes on a flash sale. I buy Half-Life 2 and both episodes for a total of around siz bucks. I go to my library to see something odd. Three other games I have no record of purchasing.

Half-Life 2: Lost Coast is more of a sightseeing tour than an actual Half-Life game. The game is supposed to take place sometime during the "Highway 17" chapter of Half-Life 2, but it really dosnt fit in.

Half-Life 2: Lost Coast introduces nothing new to the series, exept a heavily modified Source Engine. The water is more reflective and Gordon's pupils ajust to lighting. Thats it.

The game looks more like Counter-Strike: Source that Half-Life 2.

Standalone, you pay $50 for a 10 minute experience. Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is $30 for the main 2 hour mission, plus side missions. Half-Life 2: Lost Coast has one mission, and one mission only. Do NOT buy this as a stand-alone game. Buy Half-Life 2 and both episodes (if you havnt already) and you will get this for free. You will also get Half-Life Deathmatch: Source and Half-Life 2 Deathmatch. Three free games for the price of one and two expantions? Thats a good deal.

Half-Life 2:Lost Coast isnt a bad game, its just unfairly priced. If anything, it should be free.

Its the love child of Katamari Damasy and Portal.

The Ball is a physics puzzle game that isnt popular at all. I didnt hear about if from anybody, I just kind of found it on Steam. After taking a look into it, I bought the game.

The game was clearly inspired off Portal, since it uses physics for puzzles.

The game begins after you fall into a hole and into a cave during a dig. Your buddy tells you to explore the cave a bit since they have to call in a crane to pull you out. Being the stupid dumb idiot your character is, you do just that, but things take a wrong turn and suddenly falling dosnt hurt the average man's legs.

The stupid dumb idiot of your character falls into a temple. There, he finds a strange device. Not knowing what it is, he picks it up anyway. I dont know what this thing is called, but the Ball loves it. Upon going deeper, the Ball reveals itself, seeing you have the weird cluster♥♥♥♥ of a device. The Ball loves you for it, and decides to help on your adventure.

This game is not story driven like Portal, but does have a story. You will have to decypher that yourself.

The Ball is your best friend in this game, and you cant leave it behind or you wont adavance. The Ball is required for each and every puzzle, self defence, and the traditional sport of Monkey Bowling.

The Ball has more than one use, due to its physical properties, so you may have to get crafty during cirtain parts.

The main story mode has lots of puzzles to offer, but there is a survival mode as well.

Survival highlights the games simple yet supurb combat system, use the Ball to roll over enemies. With updates, there are now more puzzles for you to solve in survival mode, one being an old Mayan Aperture Science test facility.

TL;DR: A game that gives you an exuse to play with your balls

The Ball is a game that you should play if you like physics puzzle games like Portal.

There is a problem with Steam, and its quality control.

This is just a fine example of it. Luckilly, its free and if youre bored on a Saturady afternoon and want a quick little FPS game to play, then this is worth a shot.

If youre looking for a great story, amazing characters, epic gunfights, and an all around good game, this is not for you.

This mod is laggy as all hell. Half-Life alone runs extreamly well on my laptop, but this was barely playable with all the lag. The sound was skipping frequently.

The story just kind of happens with no reason whatsoever. Everything is thrown at you and youre expected to know it.

The puzzles presented in the original Half-Life where unique in their own way, having you solve them with a different tool. This game is more of a "push this box to there" puzzle game.

There are a lot of negatives to this game, but I also have some pros.

The HD models where a nice touch, and the variation in headcrab zombies was cool. I liked the new pistol and the fancy crosbow reskin.

The soundtrack was supurb and that made the game feel a bit more intense than expected, since the whole game is a huge bland pile of kacka.

Overall, it was a fun little experience, but it was a god-awful one too. The gameplay was exactly the same and the soundtrack put the fun into everything, otherwise, this would have been an extreamly boring experience, even though its already pretty boring.

This game takes up way too much of my time.

I used to be all up in Left 4 Dead's ass after playing it on the Xbox. I quickly became bored of it after playing the game with myself for hours on end after getting a copy for me. Then I discovered the glorious place we call Steam. My intentiosn where to buy games I could play anywhere, and Left 4 Dead 2 just so happened to be on that list after I heard about these wonderful things called mods. After aquireing said Mods from the wonderful workshop, Left 4 Dead 2 became a less cool game and became more funny.


But honestly, what other game can you kill Hitler while playing as Blaziken?
