I've been playing this game for 2.5 years now and it still provides something that no other game has done or can do. It's ephemeral. It's something about how this game can give you such a rush of adrenaline when things go right. It's slower and more tactical than the other battle royale games and that contributes to what I mean. It's addictive, stressful, exhilirating, and with the exception of hackers (which is way down at the time of this writing), it never feels unfair. I haven't hardly won at all for as much as I've played, and sometimes I die in 4th place after a grueling 25-minute ordeal and I'm at total peace with being in 4th.

Nothing feels better than hunting someone down. Or when catch someone completely unaware. Or when they catch you unaware, and in their own ineptitude they miss you with a few of those shots and you have time to wheel on them and end their run.

It's great stuff.
