If your buying this game expecting it to be a return to the style of DoW 1, you're going to be disappointed.

This is one of those games that is hurt by the rose tinted glasses of people who played the first game when they were kids or teenagers. This is not a epic scale RTS like the original game, nor is it a poor Diablo clone like the second game. It's actually a really solid hybrid of both genres. The Hero units need to be micromanaged in order to defeat the swarms of enemies. You can't just throw a wall of units at a problem and expect to win.

I try to convince myself I'm as stealthy as a ninja as I reload my save for the 60th time.
