Provided you have a powerful modern gaming PC, this is a great game.

Camera is crappy, could use some QoL enhancements, but hella fun.

Really kicks off around the point where you get your 3rd party member. Half loving homage, half crazy satirical take on classic JRPGs of yore.

Great game, reminds me somewhat of Escape From Butcher Bay. Gameplay is pure fun if you enjoy stealth games, and the best graphics I have seen in a game so far.

Cool modern version of a point-n-click adventure. Slightly annoying quicktime events, but still enjoyable.

A great game, and I'm enjoying it for sure. The only reason I can't recommend it is the frame rate: the game is terribly in need of optimization.
EDIT: the last update improved the frame rate. I still think it needs more optimization, and I can only really recommend this for systems with fast, modern CPUs, as it seems to be CPU-limited, not so much GPU-limited.

Solid "Fallout in Space" game. The usual Bethesda bugs and glitches on release, but a fun game.

My favourite mainline MH game of all time. I have 1700+ hours on the PS4 version.
CAVEAT: This PC version has issues with DX12 on a lot of systems. I have to run it in DX11 mode.

Lots of perfomrance issues that need patching, and you definietly need to update your graphics drivers and tweak 3D settings, but the gameplay is great. Multiplayer is janky as hell and also could use some Quality of Life changes, but meh, it's fun enough to be worth the pain.

The first time I played Dark Souls, a friend lent it to me with his PS3. I played about 15-20 minutes and gave up; it seemed very difficult, I died a lot, and no one was around to explain the basics of bonfires and "don't fight the first boss with that broken sword, run away and fight him after you find a REAL weapon".
Later on my son bought the game on Steam, and watching him play I started to "get" the game; it was actually a little like Monster Hunter, in that you just needed to develop some practice watching for the monster's tells (learn the moves, the animation sets), and the supposedly simple combat mechanics hid deeper capabilities that you could exploit as you became better at the game. Long story short, maybe the best $20 I ever spent on a game.
If you pick it up, watch a "getting started" video on Youtube; it will really help you to understand the basics, and won't spoil anything.
