This game is basically crack. Once you learn about the main bus, there's no going back. 100% reccomend, unless you have responsibilities.

I regret all the time I spent in this game in University.

It made me angry, unhappy, and toxic. That being said, it's a masterpiece of gaming and if you can handle toxicity without become toxic, get into it. It's a deep, mechanical game with true strategy.

I also miss old dota. So much has changed.

Despite the obvious issues with having DLC to fix/improve game mechanics that could have been done in an update, this game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ masterpiece.

I can actually get past the nickel-and-diming because

1) The dlc goes on sale constantly on bundlestars, humble bundle and even steam.
2) The smaller DLC packs are unneccesary
3) The DLC launches have started coinciding with free updates to add and improve game mechanics regardless if you get the DLC or not
4) This game in particular takes a TON of research and though in order to do develop effectively, so I don't mind paying for new content since they go above and beyond to make it historical and interesting to the game.

This game is civ, on crack, mixed with an RTS.

This game is different on every playthough. This game is harder or easier depending on which country you start as. I've yet to manage to form Italy, and I've tried 22 times now. Start as castille and colonize everyone, and you have an easy game. Try to be the native americans and see if you can defend against the colonization you know is coming (you can't, its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard).

I 100% reccomend this game, with all the major DLC as well. It's a masterpiece and something that game developers should strive towards. It has a truly immersive style that makes you really feel like you are at the whims of the political and idealogical ideas of your neighbours, while also making you feel like you are in control of your own destiny.

Also: watch out for aggresive expansion. All of a sudden, the entire world invades you.

New DLC is worth, imo.

Probably one of the best games ever made.

Also one of the buggiest.

Stay in school.
