Song of Nunu is a great little game that brings the world of league to life in 3d for the first time. The story is well done, doesn't overstay its welcome, and the mechanics are tight and feel good. Willump is a great companion and feels natural in the world, I spent a lot of my time just watching him exist and interact with the world. There's also a dedicated hug button, so 10/10.

If anyone knows Leagues lore, there will be a bunch of easter eggs however you will notice that there's some very simplified elements and versions of the over all lore the way the story is told, however it's not done poorly. It's comparable to telling League Lore as a children's story, which effectively is how the story is conveyed. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, just an observation.

The game acts almost as a pilot project for future 3d League games and does progress Nunu and Willumps story and lore forward, in an effective manner.

Takeshi's Castle combined with Mario Party games and the color pallette of unicorns and duplo blocks.

While the gameplay was fun, the cutscenes contained constant flickering lights, static effects, screen doubling, and color changes. For the ENTIRE cutscene. They're all longer then 5 minutes, and you can't skip them.

Unless you feel like inducing a seizure skip this.
