It's been a while since I played this game, but the experience stuck with me throughout the years. It is part action game, part adventure game, part puzzle game. Take a Metroid game and focus solely on exploration and item collecting, and you have an idea about this game. The music is fantastic as well.

Skullgirls is an amazing fighter. Although it is new to the scene, it takes all of the good stuff of veteran fighters like Street Fighter and Marvel vs. Capcom (and even King of Fighters!) and makes its own. The game has really interesting lore as well, which is uncommon in fighting games. The main point of contention would be the artstyle, which may not be for everyone. Certain ladies are volumptuous, which may be a turn off to some people sensitive to that. Foruntately, all of the characters hae some degree of exaggeration, and I didn't see anything that was a distraction or a coverup for a design deficit. This game is the real deal.

Man, I love this game. Such an intersting concept! The gameplay is not bad either. Bascially, you're playing as an RPG shop owner trying to pay back a debt. The main gameplay mechanic is to fix up your shop and sell goods. But where do you get your wares? That is the other intersting thing. You have a Zelda/Ys-esque dungeon crawler where you sponsor an adventurer to go through a dungon and get more wares. It is a very interesting system.

I'm not a huge fan of puzzle-adventure games (they give me a headache), but this game has a lot of style and has a interesting take on the steampunk theme. Give it a shot.

What an odd game, if you can call it that. It is effectively a fireplace simulator. I had tons of fun playing this in an audience of friends, but it lacks motivation to actually "play" it. It's not bad thing, mind you, but know what you're getting into.

I have a love/hate realtionship with this game. It is interestingly designed and has great music, but I can't bring myself to play this game for longer than short bursts. Puzzle-platformers give me a headache. It's still worth checking out, even if through a friend.

This is a very excellent action game. Plenty of people have given the game praises, and they are well-deserved in my book. My main issue is that the controls seem better suited for controller support, but after a little bit of time, you'll get used to them. If you have never played this game, you're in for a treat.

This is an interactive fiction experience. As a story experience, it utilizes the intereactive medium of video games well. However, the story requires a lot of figuring out to put together, and it wasn't a satisfying story. I'm rather disappointed. However, it is a mechanicially solid game, so your personal experience with the story may be better. I'm not on board with it, though.
