Flawed but very enjoyable.

TL;DR: "It's friend making time"

It's a rouge-lite. A bit like hades in the level replay factor, with a bit of "Overlord" (game) vibes and the humor, albeit little (matching the game world and character), is spot on.

One of the best necromancer games in existence.
Raise hordes of undead and send them into battle.
Looks great and the fluent controls just feel great.
Incredible amount of upgrades and unlockable random in-field findable upgrades.

I would wish for more "control" over the random upgrade drops, especially when the incredible amount of different upgrades you unlock and find in the wild can make runs sometimes just not good. But some wild random combinations just get you kinda godlike.

Had it for a while on my radar, saw it on SalfordSal stream and decided why not.

~28h later I have ~17h playtime.
One might think I like it ^^
It has a few bugs here and there. They are usually fixed by saving and re-loading the game.

TL;DR: It's Dwarf Fortress

After years of trying and wanting to play the original, even with a 2h introduction of a friend on "how the controls work", I just couldn't.

While I am not that into deck-building games, the potion brew mechanics are absolutely awesome.
The characters are just lovely and the art is beautiful.

What a great game (does this already count as an auto battler / auto chess game?).
Build undead, let them fight, collect corpses of your enemies, get your undead killed again, build more undead with the freshly collected corpses, repeat.
The story was also surprisingly fun with a totally unexpected plot twist.
I’d love to see a sequel with more customization options for the Tower.

TL;DR: I can finally play the space station builder game I was looking for 🛰️🛠️

I am a gamedev myself and I always wanted to make a space station builder/sim. This game is pretty different from my own idea, but it REALLY REALLY scratches the itch of wanting to build a space station, the itch why I wanted to make my own game because nobody was making it.
I think I have seen most of what the game has currently to offer after ~6.6h and I say it’s totally worth it!
Looking forward to what will come in future updates.

Please keep in mind that this is still early access with lags in the endgame and there is not really an endgame yet. Asteroids and radiation storms seem as scared as pirates from my defenses and stay away.
The usual “it’s a work in progress” stuff.

Will write a more detailed review later, just wanted to give the DEVs a “thumb up” for the god-algorithm.
This game is just great and wanting to write an extensive review for what I probably will never come around to do, because it should be SO EXTENSIVE to give the game the credit it deserves, will not help the devs out, so I wrote this instead until I come around to write a proper one ^^.
Anyway: LOVE IT! 💖
