It brings me joy to see this franchise return after ~10 years, and finally seeing it hit mainstream appeal. I think this game will start another trend for mecha games in the years to come, and as for the AC franchise itself, I am confident that the Armored Core series will continue to evolve. So yes, I recommend this game.

It's a good game, it's just that NEXON, the publisher of the game, has no idea what they're doing or have any plans to progress the game. It's been in BETA since 2013. Think about that for a second. So where they are at now is unacceptable. Also, they thought they can exploit the community and make easy money by making it terribly grindy and charging players $10 just to unlock one class. And their loadout system does not work well with a competitive game like this. I honestly do not understand why publishers like this still fail to comprehend how the market works. You can have the most mediocre game but as long as they support it, their project can be a success. They ruined Splash Damage.

I feel that Nexon literally ignored what makes free-to-play titles successful and thought they can get away with their own model. Had they focused making purchasable content on aesthetics, tweaked the loadout feature to be more accessible, and fixed the ranked matchmaking system, then they could have made more profit and the game could have been doing well, especially in the esport market.

It's decent. The game just needs further optimization. My frames drop really low at times which definitely should not happen in a game like this.
