Interesting game, you control a 'guild' of gladiators. You get some say at what they wear and some basic tactics but the battles fight themselves.

I'm having fun with it so far. :)

Gentlemen... this is democracy manifest.

Coop PVE game where 'spread freedom' to aliens for a unified "Super Earth". It had a rough patch of controversies but yet still quite a bit of fun.

Trying to do missions solo are a big hit and miss, depending mostly on the faction. This is really made for coop game play and very heavily encourages you to group up. As a gamer that prefers friends/solo vs public play, at least the majority of the community seems friendlier than most others.

This game also tends to make you loathe Microsoft, Windows, and it's forced 'features' even more. I love spawning virtual desktops in the middle of a rough firefight. :P

Prefer Red Alert series but this game is still pretty great. I must have bought it like 3-4 times in various forms/bundles over the years.

My biggest complaint is that they spent the time and effort to get it working in Win10/11 and did a half assed job of it. The best option to fix everything is to get the CNCNET installer, but this connects you to a third party service. If you want a better experience and actually working LAN without that:

- search "wsock32 red alert 2" (yes, red alert 2 - it still works for TS) and get the wsock32.dll replacement file from moddb. Put that in the game folder. This will give you back LAN functionality.
- search "cnc-ddraw" and go on the github bu 'FunkyFr3sh', there's a releases section on the right side. Get the latest release, unpack and place all files in the game folder. Run 'cnc-ddraw config.exe" and check on all of the fixes in the last tab at least. This fixes the alt-tab issues and stuttering. You can also set full screen scaling, borderless, etc and framerate settings if you so choose.

At least the whole bundle was dirt cheap on a sale and you get all of the C&Cs.

Early Access Review
A simulator where you run your own playing card shop. Not a bad game, it scratches the 'gambling itch' a bit from opening card packs. Early access so its still somewhat basic but they're adding all sorts of neat new things in a reasonable amount of time.

One thing that did amuse me was if you set your currency to CAD, it changes the bills/coins shown in game to look like Canadian currency.

This DLC gives you an awful lot for $3 CAD. Most of the new starter weapons are 'fire straight ahead' type so if you're not used to those, it can be a bit of a shock.

Still though, I'm having fun with it :)

Boxing VR game. Fun cardio workout and/or a hilarious time, depending how comfortable you are trying to shadow box :P

Similar to Mad Games Tycoon but with a bit more of everything, everywhere.

Changes I liked:
- You can make retro games, IAPs, and arcade machines.
- Your game features actually have to make sense for the type so no light zappers with econ simulators.
- Unlike the first one, you can pick whichever building you want to start out in rather than having to tear everything down and 'upgrade'.
- Graphics/sound/gameplay development rooms come in much sooner, cost much less in the early game, and make a huge impact on your final product.
- Remodeling and upgrading room contents is much much better.
- Computers, consoles, arcade machines, handhelds, and phones are all separate markets rather than one giant market share.
- If you have to cancel a game to do something first (like engine upgrade), then try to make it again - it retains your settings that you had.

Changes I didn't like so much:
- I don't care for the room/employee temperature management stuff, feels like it's just a tacked on dumb mechanic. Please just let us disable all that, not just hide the icons. I just want to make games and see numbers go up, not deal with whiny employees throwing trash on the floor and being too petulant to actually use the cans like an adult.
- Engine upgrading is a bit clicky when you've got a lot of them. Wish there was an 'upgrade all engines with newest features' button.
- For some reason, auto save switched itself off on me and I lost a lot of progress. I don't recall ever touching the settings page but I don't know if it was my own fault or not. Regardless, there should be a confirmation popup if it's supposed to be defaulted on and someone switches it off.
- If you own a lot of subsidies, you'll get flooded with popups. There used to be a setting in MGT1 that auto declined any game below X rating but I can't seem to find that here. So I get a lot of junk, I just ended up closing all the subs so I'm the only console/handheld company. :P

Basically, if you liked the first game, you'll probably like this one.

Airport management sim. It's got quite a few pieces taken here and there from their other titles but it's unique enough to warrant a purchase if you like airplanes.

It's pretty casual and zen, not much difficulty to it other than grind to make numbers go up.

Positives:
- I like the subject matter but that's just a personal preference.
- Money is easy to get if you can stay ahead of the 'visitor research' curve and make big store purchases only when it rains. The more people you can cram in your airport from all the proposals, the more money you'll get.
- There's a lot less 'RNG' involved vs many of their other titles so you don't feel like you got completely screwed by the game.
- I like that you can pick and specialize some of the shops and figuring out which items give bonuses is extremely easy.
- Planes have a straightforward upgrade path. As you unlock higher tier planes, they're just better than the previous. No weird 'specific plane for a specific purpose' thing like many of their other games have. Some may not like this simplification but for this game, IMO it works.
- Thieves are a neat new mechanic. Just look for a person standing around with a red backpack when you get the notice. It forces you to pay attention somewhat rather than idle click through it all. Or you can set down a security station and forget about it but you won't get the rewards for catching them.
- Achievements are unlocked mostly throughout the whole game for once instead of 1 at the start and the rest towards the end.
- Clogged toilets apparently warrant a breaking news report on TV. lol

Cons:
- I'm not a fan of the rising cost mechanic on necessary parts like aprons and environment gear even if money is easier to make in this game.
- Some buildings only allow two directions when rotating but others allow for all four. Why not make all buildings allow four if you're going to build support for that?
- There's a lot of 'double dipping'. You pay to get the building token from the supplier then you pay to put it down (both with rising costs).
- Some of the placement controls are glitchy. Sometimes you aren't able to mouse over a specific area like you normally can so you have to click the area itself to place stuff which feels clunky. It's especially egregious when placing airport tiles on the north-west sides of the map.
- Why limit how many flight routes you can get and set? Let me use my older planes to fly to other routes.
- 'Required' new buildings that get unlocked with each rank up. I keep having to completely rearrange my airport because I can't fit a damn baggage claim anywhere that isn't just off to the side due to needing so many amenities close together for bonuses. At least moving stuff around is free.

I would rate this middle-of-the-pack game play wise vs other Kairosoft titles. Not enough for a down-rate though but pretty close. At the very least this is set in a time where finding a wrapped 'small box' in an airport isn't immediate cause for alarm. :P
