TL;DR----- Game good, but game great if JoJo fan. Online stinky but tons of singleplayer content at the very least.

In terms of a singleplayer fighting game. DAAAM THIS IS GOOOD as someone who plays fighting games offline only for the most part it's really good. It looks and FEELS like JoJo with all the characters working how you think they'd work from the show. Tons of stuff to unlock and some good modes to keep you interested.

In terms of an online fighting game (from what I've heard) man it's rough around the edges. It VERY, VERY MUCH depends on the person you are fighting from the sounds of it. Good connections no problem, anything below that and man it'll get rooougghhh.

Despite that I can still 100% recommend this game if you are JoJo fan like I am, you'll love this game to bits!!

I used to like this game with some issues of how crazy hard it could be, however the dev kinda went crazy over night it seemed. Sadly this is bleeding into affecting the ACTUAL game itself. DOMINA IS NO LONGER GETTING UPDATES. Or at least content wise. It honestly may or may not be around due to the dev having THAT BAD of blood with Steam over the stupidest ♥♥♥♥ that also took place outside of the platform

Honestly give your money to the devs of Cult of the Lamb, Holtine Miami, hell buy Fallout 76 and Fallout 1st at the same time. It'd be a better investment of your money. THIS DEV DOESN'T DESERVE A CENT OF YOUR MONEY

I really wanted to like this DLC but MAAAN IT BLOWS. Always changing things that don't need to be changed and making it more grindy without any reason. Why would someone WANT it to be more grindy????

What I hate the most is how lazily put in the new cleaner Dan is. He's a cool character and his abilities are good don't get me wrong, however he has hardly any dialogue outside of Act 5 and interacts with NO ONE. It's really sad to see because every base game characters talks and shares stories with each other. The DLC cleaners on the other hand just feel like they are tagging along for the ride.

Again really makes me sad that we waited almost a year for content that, honestly should be free at this point, and should have been here like 6 months or so ago

It's janky but very much fun. I used to love Overwatch and this fills that void pretty well. Training/bots are a good, casual way to just have some fun and pass time. It's characters varies in playstyles and themes, also being able to play them in different ways. Plus Supports and Tanks being ACTUALLY FUN to play being able to do some damage if played well. There is something for everyone!! Also crossplay if you want to play with more people and worry about not finding a game

Everything about this game just feels wrong or off to me. There are little to NO normals in the game, Simplistic controls overlapping with normal inputs which (for me at least) make it so you do the wrong move, the only way you can deal REAL damage is hitting your specials which require a slow as hell recharge of your meter and depending on character take YEARS to be thrown out, horribly unbalanced characters like Hitman or Lost Warrior which people loooove to play, and so many comeback mechanics it looks like one of my Japanese animes.

I really want to like this game but most of the time I just feel frustrated like I do in DBFZ cuse either an unbalanced character is being mad annoying or it's core mechanics just muddy the entire thing. Maybe if they have a major patch like Granblue I'd come back but for now, nah fam go buy Melty Blood or UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH instead if you want "simple but deep"

Game itself is AMAZING seriously this is one of my favorite fighting games HOWEVER port is a little rough around the edges. It has this annoying audio mixing bug that makes the actual in-game/fight audio quite as heck, but BEYOND LOUD for the cutscenes in Arcade and Story mode. Besides that, that is really the only wrong with this port for me.

If you don't mind that annoying bug that'll at some point be fixed, this is an A+ fighting game I can't recommend enough if you enjoy the persona series.

New items, new area, new game mode, new OST, even new characters are super bangers but this ♥♥♥♥ wasn't playtested at all

It is HORRIBLY unbalanced with how the new void enemies work, literally SPAWNING into an AoE area that heavily damages you or enemies that if they hit you once they apply a HEAVY BURST/TANK BUSTER move that just oneshots you. I really want to like this DLC but god with how unbalanced it is I can't recommend this right now.

I really wish you could just turn off void seeds but keep the characters turned on because I hate I have to turn off all the new good stuff JUST to make the game playable

TL;DR------ Game's AI is really bad, going between brain dead or pro EVO player, doesn't have a good balance at all like all the other games out there. If you play only singleplayer like I do, go buy King of Fighters 15 instead cuse in my opinion it's a lot better put together than this ♥♥♥♥ I can tell you that. Maybe it's online is good but for singleplayer, nam fam pass


As someone who plays fighting games singleplayer only for the most part, this has literally been one of the worst fighting game experiences I've EVER had. This game's AI is designed so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lazily it's pathetic and laughable at best. It seriously goes between brain dead to EVO player in a heart beat. Setting it to anything at 4 or below makes it totally brain dead and only block. Setting it above 5 or above makes it totally destroys you and will 100% bring you wall to wall, magically opening their third eye. Testing it myself it's really gross seeing it go from only blocking to totally wrecking face like a pro who has played for 5+ years is disgusting.

Never have I seen a modern fighting game's AI be so extreme with how it plays. At least with something like Blazblue, Guilty Gear, and even UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH is the AI can be extreme but only if you but it at it's max. I usually play on the second hardest for those games and it feels balanced, they can do some crazy ♥♥♥♥ but they can at least get punished. I'm not saying I'm a pro by any means, hell most of the time i get my ass kicked if I TRY to do online, I'm not good by any means. But if I can clear almost every Guilty Gear character's arcade route on the second hardest difficulty but I can't even do "medium" for this game, something is really messed up here.

Seriously don't waste your time trying to learn a game that'll just read your inputs and totally screw you over even if you are stupidly good. Being forced to play lame is NEVER fun, even against a CPU. Just go buy King of Fighters 15 or literally anything else instead.

One of Platinum's most underrated gems, I seriously love the crap out of this game. It's just as deep as something like bayonetta or DMC while having a wacky, fun Power Rangers like aesthetic going on. It can be a bit janky because the game was made for the Wii-U gamepad in mind, however the ways they go around it are good enough at the very least and make the game actually playable. Some parts can be annoying because of this but they don't last long and don't show up that often.

Thankfully there is a demo so if you like what you are playing, I can say for sure it's worth the buy!!!

TL;DR- Game is very good for an alpha that's rough around some edges. Kotaku are just big babies trying to push an agenda of "Cops bad lol" which bro, it's a video game, chill. It's funny how they leave out being able to be as non-lethal as possible, weird uh???

This game is rough around the edges for sure but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ if it's not one of my favorite games now. Despite annoying bugs or AI either being too stupid or too good, it's a VERY polished Alpha of sorts. The game very rewards you being non-lethal and taking things sooorrtttaaa slow. This game will make you make SPLIT SECOND dissensions that either be life or death.

I also find it very interesting you can basically run an entire non lethal set-up. Pepper Spray painball gun, taser, CS gas, etc. It feels really good when you manage to clear out an entire place without killing a soul! Considering the state of everything it's already really good with some rough edges, so things can only get better from here!!!
