An absolutely wonderful folk horror adventure game. Very atmospheric, and incredibly high production value all the way around. 100 percent recommend to anyone who enjoys horror and adventure games.

I've been waiting for this game to come out since X-Wing Alliance came out and I didn't have a good enough computer to play it at the time. For me, this game is exactly what I've been wanting for the last couple of years. It controls great with an Xbox controller, and my friend says mouse and keyboard work fine for him, although we both are looking to get flight sticks.

I'm about 4 missions into the story mode, which is fantastic so far, with great voice acting and writing so far. I hope it keeps up this good pace and plot. The missions themselves are pretty fun, and so far have done a good job of explaining controls and game systems, such as targeting subsystems on flagships, and how different weapon types generally work.

Again, this is exactly the game I was hoping for. It's Star Wars. It's X-Wing. It's fun.

Note: I havent really played multiplayer yet except to hop into the Fleet Battles vs. AI with a couple of friends, and we got our asses handed to us, but I don't think we quite understand the mode fully. So no real comment on multiplayer, but for me, that's just an extra feature. Buy this game for the campaign.

Stardust Vanguards is a really good couch multiplayer game to play with some friends. I haven't been able to play a ton of this yet, but I highly recommend the game. The only complaint I have is that the random pirate attacks that can occur during typical deathmatch battles can be a bit overwhelming, but I've found I can choose to turn them off. It can quickly become a bit TOO hectic during some of the pirate invasions.

Overall, a fun little way to kill time, but don't expect any deep complex systems. It's more resource management/hidden object than RPG, but overall it kept me engaged for a few hours. It's also not a very long game, which is good, as it doesn't overstay it's welcome. Beautiful graphics and calming music really helped keep me playing.
