Between the wide array of backgrounds and settings, the character designs and expressions, and just the overall storytelling... this is a masterpiece in itself.

I rarely play visual novel type games but this one just looked interesting enough to give it a go. I'm super glad that I did though as it was a wonderful experience despite me not yet having completed all endings. The are a few sad, very sad, and highly depressing aspects to some story lines and for sure I did cry like a ♥♥♥♥♥. But I do feel like those experiences were worth it despite how difficult it might have been to read through them.

One aspect of this I wasn't expecting was how certain sections and story events actually have some full animated sections to them. Even some of the start of the story when seeing Olivia for the first time was a very well animated experience. Those scenes combined with the soundtrack will really keep you engrossed in the story for several hours and have you thinking about them for long after that. The most notable one that I experienced was at roughly the midpoint of the story during a blackout.... the music and intensity of the scene along with the style used really make it stand out as being powerful to the story and also the message that it delivers.

I do highly recommend this to anyone looking for a powerful story of not only romance but also of just a general lore bomb of a world that has humans and anthro dinosaurs co-existing in a modern day setting. Highly unique premise with several varying twists and choices that lead to highly diverse outcomes.... some bad and some good, but all worth experiencing at least once.

Additional Edit: If you see that you are heading to ending 1... just don't. Please just don't. :(

This game was quite good when I first found it a while back. It was fun and fairly unique compared to many of the other battle royale type games out there now. It being free was also a factor to my trying it as well.

I decided to try picking it back up again after a while of being away from it recently and have found it to be quite dead now. Several new interesting areas, a few new weapons, and new loadout options are quite nice.... but when you wait 10+ minutes to get into a game with only 12 people... it's not so worth it.

Don't get me wrong, the game is still great and plays great as well.... it's just that there seems to be no one to play with anymore. I strongly encourage people to either pick it back up and play it some more or, if you are new to it, try it out for a while. Can't really have a battle royale game on a map this size with only 12 people. >.>

Everyone that even has some slight interest in the game should try it out. It's free and you can always uninstall it later if you really don't like it. But at the moment there really needs to be more people in game.

Early Access Review
So far this game is quite bad. You will constantly get outgunned. Within 30seconds of the game starting you will go up against people that already seem to have legendary stuff. Movement is obnoxiously stiff. The chicken then respawn thing is a terrible idea... you take someone out from a distance? Unless you run your ass over there and finish them off they will most likely be fine and end up killing you in a few moments.

Overall I would prefer Fortnite over this. At least Fortnite seems more polished and your movement is more fluid. On here you jump about 1-2 feet high unless you are next to a wall or something and then it's like 10 feet you jump. The horse mechanic is also kinda useless to me since you can easily run the distance to anywhere without worrying about time.

It was a good game for me. Played it a fair bit and was liking it a lot. Started up the game today and clicked to load game like I usually do... nothing happened and my save disappeared. Restarted the game thinking it was a glitch... it wasn't. So 15 hours of gameplay was just randomly deleted while trying to load it.

I don't plan on restarting this to repeat 15 hours of gameplay so I will probably just delete it to free up some space.

Despite some of the reviews claiming Uplay to be the cause of a lot of issues... I have, thus far, had no problems with it.

While I have not yet beaten the game, I shall still recommend it simply based on the art style, atmosphere, and the amusing rhyming/poetic aspect of everything spoken in game.

The are a few little puzzles here and there, but nothing much aside from box pushing and moving your mouse just right.

The combat is unique as well.

You can see enemies in the area as you are traveling. When going to fight one it brings up a turn based encounter event. Some encounters simply require the old style method of mindlessly mashing your basic attack button. Other's require a bit of strategy.

A uniqute aspect to encounters is using your mouse (and your little buddy that you control with it) to slow the enemies actions, heal yourself, and collect 'wishes' during the encounters. This incorporates a bit of timing and determining which enemy to target first. If timed right and you have a touch of luck, you can make it through some encounters without taking any damage at all.

I suppose I should mention a downside to the game.

The main story is, thus far, rather enjoyable. But the little side quests you find from various NPC's are not so much. They do give you some nice rewards... but tend to be rather vague with how to go about doing them. Or just rather annoying by having you backtrack several areas to find something that has now spawned there only to grab it and travel all the way back.

Very time consuming and sometimes the rewards don't quite match up to the effort put into them.

Overall it is well worth getting. If you like RPG style games, exploring in a 2d environment, and the general oddities of what you might find... it is worth it.

While the game itself is quite fun, it lacks in the memoribility of the previous titles.

Most enemies are just retextured versions of Borderlands 1 and 2 enemies with different names and the same combat styles with slight variations. The story, at least to me, seemed rather short and uninformative compared to 2. You do get some decent information on Jack's rise to power and his actions in the second game... but you also miss out on vast amounts of possible info as well that simply wasn't added.

Gameplay is identical to the previous games with the added element of needing oxygen and a low gravity environment. Control in low gravity areas (which is almost everywhere) is fairly easy and I believe they did that well. The need for oxygen is rather annoying if you are someone who would like to explore or boost everywhere. One of the higher capacity oxygen masks that I found was about 170 capacity. Each full boost takes down 10 of that.... so you will quickly deplete your supplies if you want to move around quickly in the somewhat barren areas.

Going through the first playthrough was fairly entertaining and only slightly challenging, as it should be. The second playthrough is just difficult and unforgiving. Enemies are constantly 2-5 levels higher then you and you progress and nearly everything can 1 shot you without warning. In many cases the badass variants of enemies can be harder then the bosses of the area you are in. You will be required to farm xp and weapons quite often if you don't want to get constantly slaughtered in every area.

The NPCs are all rather limited with dialogue and quests. There are several good side quests, but most are very generic. The rewards from them tend to be average as far as usefullness goes... but some are just pointless.

While the previous titles contained a lot of humor that was easy to understand, the Pre-Sequel seems to have little to no humor without first researching what it is they are trying to make humorous. I did find a few rather amusing parts, but they weren't as memorable and laugh inducing as the ones in the previous game.

As others had mentioned, glitches and bugs are quite a problem... depending on what happens. I have been killed by nothing, been shot at through walls, and even been the victim of rocks/platforms that aren't really there. I have also been blessed to have a never depleting shield, one shotted some enemies that I know I shouldn't of been able to, and had enemies be motionless while I unloaded on them. It definately needs to fixing.

One more small annoyance I had...
Bosses, in the second game, were a primary source of farming for legendary weapons and items. In this one, many of the bosses are one time only fights with no chance to farm them. There are still several bosses that can be farmed, but not many effective ones.

Now for some good things.

There seem to be more chests around then in the second game which in beneficial to loot farming. Getting to the few farmable bosses is a fair bit easier then on 2 as well. Farming said bosses can be challenging, but manageable when properly leveled.

The Vault Hunters' skills are all rather unique and can be quite effective in solo or multi situations. From Claptrap's randomness to Nisha's autotargeting, they all make for very unique characters.

Plenty of sidequests to do and a few easter eggs to find make it quite similar to Borderlands 2 in that aspect. It can be quite entertaining to find whole quests that are just easter eggs as well. :)

I suppose, overall, it is a good game in need of some work. Hopefully any future DLCs and updates will remedy most of it's current problems and make playing it a more enjoyable experience. I think, as it stands, I would give it roughly a 7.5/10.

I do like the game, it just needs work. But I would only recommend getting it after a bit of a discount as it currently is. Unless they fix some issues first.

A massive open world, plenty of secret areas and goodies to fine and collect, vastly different areas to explore in the included DLC's, and much shooting involved....

Combine all of that with a massive modding community that has wild ideas all of their own and you got one epic game worthy of wasting days, months, and even years of your life.

You can't go wrong with Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition and it's massive replayability.

It is a great game with an interesting story. Colorful visuals, fast paced hack n slash action set in a fantasy world. Journey through several different enviroments, each with unique enemies and experiences. Highly entertaining with several secrets to find by means of small puzzle aspects or creative thinking to keep it fun throughout the whole game.

Well worth a look if you like sidescrolling hack n slash games but are not into something very time consuming.
