I guess I'm one of the lucky ones, and have had no issues running this game at 60fps once I change the .ini file. This game is a phenomenal conclusion to the Arkham Series, and definitely earns the new M rating with a much darker tone than the other games. I feel bad for games like these, because due to some graphical errors and a frame cap(which can be adjusted easily), the ENTIRETY of the game was downvoted, which is why I feel a need to write this review in the first place. This game does not deserve the hate it's receiving.

The new batmobile and the addition of fear and team takedown mechanics add a ton to the gameplay, while the well written storyline and plot twists make you want to keep playing. I won't go into detail, but there's so much glorious batman content and tie ins with various comic and game stories. The new mission select wheel(quest logish) and various branching plot lines with other villains across the city really makes it feel like an open world, not to mention the fact that there wasn't a single loading screen during the entirety of the open world aspects of the game(aside from deaths).

It was also interesting to see Rocksteady work with a non joker centric title. This was made possible with the introduction of Rocksteady's brand new villain, the Arkham Knight, a militaristic badass leading a PMC takeover of Gotham with a mysterious personal vendetta against Batman and the bat ears made just to mock him.

As a side note, the vehicular combat is fast paced and intense, only making me more excited for the upcoming Mad Max game, also by WB :D

This game has given me extensive emotional trauma and a severe case of PTSD. 10/10.
