Look, Everyone here has already stated "Its art! not just a game!" whatever. im too drunk to care. Heres the real deal. This game. is not fun. The puzzles are mediocre, the combat is boring, and the story is non-existant. yes, the H.R Geiger inspired landscape is there, and yes, finding beautiful art is in the game. BUT, There is barely a sound track, there is no real horror elements to keep you on your toes, and overall, i found myself clawing my own brain out trying to force myself to finish the game. its not long, (4-6 hours) but every wall where i had to fight enemies, or solve a puzzle, i could have been doing other stuff. If you are looking for a game that focuses on its art design, then sure. have fun (or whatever you'd call this), but keep in mind, THIS GAME IS NOT WORTH ITS PRICE TAG. Please get this on sale. you'd be a legit idiot if you buy this game full price. also, like i said, theres barely any music in the game, so dont bother buying the deluxe edition for the sound track. oh yeah. i have to address the "gore" element as well. its not the worst ive seen. you'd see more gore just playing DOOM. theres nothing about this game or "art" that i found amusing. im not saying i cant appreciate the work put into it, but theres no element in the game that captivates me to learn more about the world. again, im drunk, so everything im writing is true TO MY THOUGHTS. if you enjoyed it, then good, im glad, but personally, as someone who was excited for this game, only buy it when its on a sale, and even then, be ready for when you do play it.

So here's the verdict:
Going Medieval is a colony simulator that ties very closely to Rimworld, with a few elements drawing from other games like banished. For what it is right now, I think that this is a good game so far. I think waiting for a sale (Due to the fact there is still more content to come) would be best. Have fun!

Slept on this game for a while. for how much it is, its worth the price. If your into the dungeon crawling kind of stuff, then this is 100% something you gotta pick up

I beat all missions on legendary solo. I hate this game now. enjoyed the pain and story so i guess it wasn't too bad

Unfortunately abandoned. it was fun while it lasted. dont buy

This game is terrible. A friend recommended it and now it sits in my library wasting space. A ♥♥♥♥ game with ♥♥♥♥ story. Sure the bosses are hard and i have a few 50+ hours into it but thats not the point. Overall Score: -5/5 would not buy again
