They do nothing but remove content from this game, delay the newest update (the actual release) further and then continue to blame the community for it.

You guy's haven't even completed the kickstarter yet, you remove more content than the half completed stuff you bake into the game and you failed to truely launch the full game on the consoles it was promised for. It wasn't even a "we released the game too late into the consoles development cycle" deal, they just literally spent ages "completing" a game.

Would play again if they bothered to rectify these issues rather than pump COSMETIC dlc into the game.

ASA, while not being as perfect as some people want or idolise to want to be, is actually a good game.

If you like Ark Survival Evolved, there is no reason for you not to like Ascended (apart from the fact you dont wanna "Pay again" which is valid). The game is substantially less buggy than its previous game, the game actually adds new content like Chibi slots and tek binoculars, the DLCs are going to be remastered with new dinosaurs added and much more.

The developers and their situations are separate from the product, so it does seem a bit harsh and unfair to judge the game based around its publisher.

Overall? 8.5/10

Sold out to epic games and now the skins cost as much as the game used to. Frankly just disappointing how they could sell out like this.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dreadful. Cant even do half the quests with friends without faffing about with a load of different menu's and the quests don't even sync. I just wanted to play some quests with friends but it turns out you can only do dungeons with friends despite the fact we are in a group.

It was alright. Leviathans were not scary at all, it was very bright for the most part so no fear and being on land was negatable by just slamming those heat fruits down. Should of kept it as a dlc. The creatures did look cool like Snowstalker and the Jellyfish but the story was just... abyssal. Thought it would be about the mystery of Sam and the Kharaa virus. Buttt it was more about an the alien and the sister was just shoved to the side. Kinda sucks.

Biomes? The biomes were prettier than in the first, atleast some were. Thermal vents and the twisty bridges were amazing as well as the Lily pad biome. Thermal spires was bad with a very loud shark, the ventgarden biome was a waste of my time and the surface was just... well... white.

Vehicles are crap. Seatruck is just a seamoth with extra bits and the hoverbike is awful. Just get the first game and imagine its snowy, please.

That damned spider in that damned dwemer dungeon is going to cause me to have a stroke. Not a bad dlc though.

Absolutely Terrible, has a "host game" button and then tells you that you cant host a game and you have to either pay or port forward, like I want to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ do that stupid ♥♥♥♥♥.
