Great disappointment compared to Old Blood and New Order. The difficulty is abysmally high. It does not matter if you play at the easiest or the hardest difficulty. Your base health is 50 HP, not 100 HP, and the enemies, even the basic enemies, are completely overpowered. Countless cheap deaths because of that. Then there are the constant glitches. Getting stuck at doors and corridors and shafts, and having to reload checkpoints and redo difficult parts all the time or save all the time. I wanted to finish this trilogy but it's not happening. Game is unplayable for me.

Classic Euro shmup with a very bad design.

I got the base game along with phantom liberty DLC, and the length of the game was extensive. The quests just don't stop coming. This game has 13 alternate endings, mind you. Many choices. Graphics are great. no more bugs like at the launch of the game. Many memorable characters. Enough memorable quests. Game makes you to invest in it. But the gameplay is chill and relaxing. it is a technical achievement and also a great RPG.

Predecessor to the Shadow Warrior reboot. Made with the same engine. If you already own it, it offers some decent gun play, nothing great. The story is whatever. Cringy voiceovers. It's ok for a quick bite.

Great shmup! Might be too easy for veterans of the genre, but for everybody else, this is a great approachable shmup. Awesome graphics, music, bullet patterns, enemies. It feels like you're playing a space opera. And all this is made with shooting game builder, who could imagine this!

This is the best Modern Doom game that embrasses the original Doom style of gameplay and adds a very immersive story narrative. It also has a great level editor, that unfortunately is not mentioned so much. Too bad that the Doom Eternal took a great dumb on this game, and threw away everything that this game built.

This is the first Streets of Rage game that I played, and definitely the last one. Extremelly frustrating game due to bad design. This game is not a beat 'em up, it's a beat you up. The devs made everything possibly to make this experience as frustrating and joyless as possible. Let's review all the bad design choices:

- Your character moves like he s*** his pants. On contrary, the enemies move in normal speed and many of them are fast and can cover half the screen very fast.
- Your character of course can't run. Only dash.
- The enemies can attack you from different vertical position than yours and can move vertically fast to you, while you move like a turtle trying to avoid all their attacks. You can't move vertically fast or jump and change vertical position.
- Stages have environmental hazards (gaps that you fall, fire hazards, acid hazards, in the elevator the enemies constantly throw you out of the elevator). This leads to many unfair deaths.
- The enemies can throw many hazards to you and you can't avoid them fast due to your speed. Hazards like acid flasks, hand grenads, there are enemies that spit fire and move fast from one edge of the screen to the other. There are stages where they constantly throw grenades or rockets and it's completely frustrating.
- The enemies, mid bosses and bosses have armor and can block. You can't block and can't move away from them fast if they block.
- The star move, which is like a 1/3 screen clearing move, is completely nerfed.
- I haven't played this co-op but considering
the size of characters, the small play area and all the previous points I mentioned, this would be unplayable possibly in co-op even with two players.
- The comic book cut scenes between the stages are just tiring. Nothing exciting or funny or whatever. Just waste of time.

I can't find any positives in this game. I made the mistake of giving it some more time to see if it will get better, but it actually got even worse and unfortunatelly missed my refund window. It got so frustrating that it depleted my patience and have no desire to complete it. Waste of money and time. Do yourself a favor and buy an actually good beat 'em up like Final Vendetta or Fight'n Rage. This game is just hype, nothing more.

I will give it a thumbs up, but for me it's disappointing from many aspects. No opening and ending animated scenes in fights. Less modes than XRD. And the graphics for me are a step down compared to XRD. Also, this tactic with releasing the game with half the characters and having to pay more than the full price of the initial release to get all characters is abominable in the industry and has to finish at some point.Still though it's a solid entry in GG series, I just wish it could stand up to XRD.

Up there with GG XRD. Great 2D graphics and mechanics.
