This game is not for everyone. No matter how many free updates are added, some people will never "click" with this game regardless of overall quality. However, if you enjoy the feeling of true exploration there is a good chance that this game will appeal to you. Personally, No Man's Sky has been one of my most memorable gaming experiences. The free updates added to this game are extremely substantial and impressive, while almost every other modern game ends support months after its release. No Man's Sky on the other hand has continually added significant updates YEARS after its release, even now the largest update to the game is being released in the coming hours.

Overall a great open-world game with great gun gameplay and many great game mechanics that should be implememented into the best of Rockstars games. Some background characters have bad textures and there are some optimization issues, but other than that it's a amazing open-world game. I personally recommend buying the Jimmy's Vendetta DLC for a open-world experience with more freedom in the same city.
