Loved the witcher 3, if fact It's my favourite game of all time. But for some reason I kept putting this game off not sure why, most likely because of its age but the game has aged great. combat is decent and the graphics are still really pretty also the story is great so far. if you liked the witcher 3 you should like this game, only thing is its not open world.

This game is everything I want in a single player video game; fluent combat, engaging story and relatable, indepth and all round interesting characters like Gaunter O'Dimm, he is just so mysterious and interesting. the map is one of the biggest and most detailed to this day dispite the game being 3-4 years old, having a level of detail comparable to GTA V or Red Dead Redemption, making the world truly feel like a living breathing kingdom, this is something very few games can do for me. the story is amazing and the DLC adds around 20 hours each of more great story bringing back characters from older games for example Shani from the hearts of stone DLC. I got more engaged and imersed in the story of this game than any other game I have played. Not to mention this games amazing sound track and stunning visuals.

I have one major problem with it and thats that I can't enjoy a single player game anymore, this game has set the bar so high that no other single player game can come close. I have wanted to play games like Skyrim and the Middle Earth series but I just can't get into them because they just don't do "it" for me, I guess its like meth once you have had meth nothing else can satisfy that craving. FYI i have never and never will do meth but thats just the best analogy I could think of.

all in all this game is an absolute masterpiece and I would honestly give it a 10/10 in my opinion. but don't take my word for it. even though its a $40 game still try to get it on sale for around $20 but the game (with DLC) is still more than worth it at full price.
