Best digital incarnation of the game to date. Balancing is alright. As of current writing though (28/10/2024) there is no Tag Duel mode or event, which is baffling.

A fitting closure to a character held dear by many. And for this particular game, we were forced to juggle our attention between 3 distinct world settings. For a standard AC game to tackle that amount of inter-connectivity is nothing short of impressive. That's what happens when you let the people who know how to write stuff in charge and let them do their thing.

A sequel done right. What do we do when the main character already knows his way around, is already a master of all techniques available to him, and interacts with people in power since his younger days? Challenge his ideals. And that's what Ubisoft managed to do, while improving on almost every, if not all, aspects of the franchise.

With all its flaws, Tekken 7 is still, for me, the perfection of the formula that made Tekken franchise so great. The graphics, the mechanics, the character designs, and the community behind it all contribute to deliver a solid experience all around.

The amount of characters in the roster guarantees there is something for everyone. The balance is... enough. You can't satisfy everyone, Harada and his development team knows this fact very well, but their efforts clearly show, and the result is clearly there. You can win with anyone, and the game is designed so that the player carries the character-- never the other way around.

Absolutely will break the 1000-hours playtime mark for this game, whenever it will be.

A fitting finale to the trilogy. Gorgeous graphics, great world design, phenomenal OSTs, rich lore, and some of the best bosses in the entire series. Packed with enough new content to attract new players and the right amount of callbacks and fanservice to appeal to the series' older fanbase, and to top it all off: two amazing DLCs.

There's also various ways to approach every situation, with every character build and weapon combination's viability only limited to the player's own skill. Honestly, what more could you ask for?
