Been playing on and off since 2014 and have dumped likely thousands of hours into this game across the steam client and the standalone launcher. With poe2 about to release I thought I'd at least give the game that got us here a review (as if the supporter packs I've bought haven't helped ggg enough :D)

This game is phenomenal, I come back to it almost every single league (season) and the fact that it's free to play is just amazing. You'll probably wanted to spend 30-60 usd total for stash tabs (storage) but its by no means a requirement and they run sales constantly so you could deffo get everything you need cheaper. It might be daunting for a new player but it is honestly way easier to jump into than you think. Don't be afraid of the big passive skill tree, just focus on the area you start in and build out, it's extremely unlikely you're going to be going to opposite ends of it on one character! You don't need to worry about the nitty gritty details like evasion formulas or whatever, thats for the nerds that make tools for the game to worry about, just grab what looks fun and most of the time you'll do absolutely fine except for some of the really high end late game content, but you can always reroll a fresh character and use all the currency and items you collected on your first to go even further!

Please try the game, it's so much fun.

Very fun game. Like a mix of Payday, L4D, Vermintide and Minecraft(?) Levels are all randomly generated, refreshed after a certain time period and voxel based so no two levels will be the same and are fully destructible. All four classes have their uses and are fun to play and are genuinely distinct from one another as rather than simply being different ways to kill enemies they all bring their own utility to the table. Devs seem to care a lot about it and actively update it and listen to the community. Definitely worth picking up, especially if you have friends to play with.

DRG now has some really good end game content with deep dives, core hunts, machine missions and most importantly, new beards. 100% worth picking up
