Is this friendslop? Yes.

Do I have a fixation on hill climbing? Yes.

Do I like putting my nuts in a vice and playing multiplayer games solo? You bet your ass I do.

I get all of this with this game. Also the resource management's unironically pretty good, it's not Peaks of Yore levels of silly climbing but it is still fun.

It's like SWAT 4 except it runs worse and tries too hard. Hope you like seeing sex trafficking or child exploitation waved in your face every other mission in an effort to be edgy.

The AI's also complete ass, as in, wallbanging you every 5 minutes ass because the devs can't be bothered to edit their own config files.

Seriously, just play SWAT 4 with the Elite Force mod, you'll get more mileage out of it than this if you want to actually have a police sim.

It also costs less than this overall.

It's like early SMT except instead of wanting to smash your balls in a waffle iron due to teleport mazes you want to do it because you suck at parrying.

The AI is ludicrously aggressive - a plus if you happen to be a masochist. It has zero qualms about backing you into a corner and juggling you to death, your combo breaker means nothing beyond a way to cheese out more Fatal Sync/Devil Trigger.

Play fast, play aggressive, your defensive options are a ruse - they exist largely to facilitate you continuing hitting things with your stick.

And the final boss is really, really easy.

It's alright. Encounter design feels like you're getting jumped in the streets of Kabul because you happened to be wearing a uniform on the wrong day, but you get used to it.
