Some server issues.. They've been better that past couple of days though.
The game is alright so far, but here are the cons first: The audio is terrible. You can't hear your own car, even with every sound option turned down, it's almost silent! AI is not adjustable and even with different tunes, it's almost impossible to beat without some ass-hattery. Steering has no feedback on controller. Revs and brakes are OK, but nothing for steering at all.

The pros: Handling is fun when you get used to it. Music selection is good, graphics are good, SATNAV/AI companion isn't constant and annoying. The map is incredible. They said they'd give us a 1:1 scale of Hong Kong Island, and they delivered. The car selection is really good, and tiered, so you can't blow all your cash on a car that you can't use in races.

That's my tuppence..

This is really good.. I'm a big SCP fan, and this has great interpretations on the stories. Graphics are good, game-play is a bit clunky but manageable. Choice of anomalies and sequence is very well scripted. And flappy bird!

Well, I waited until I'd completed the game to write this.

I've heard about the bugs and crashes, and I didn't experience that many. I had a problem with my inventory and a crash after I'd completed the game. The AI is a bit dumb, the cars aren't great to drive, and controls at times can feel clunky and unrefined.

But you know what? It doesn't matter one little bit. The game and story are absolutely outstanding. The dialogue options you receive are brilliant, the characters are great and everything is so well written. The game looks stunning, even though I'm playing on an old 1070 at the moment.

The music rivals that of Doom. And I don't say that gingerly. The radio music, the club music. Just great to listen to. And the ending. Oh man, the ending I chose, the music that follows that, with the credits and what happens in the credits just fit so well. Right in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ feels! Actually made me think about my teemage years, sitting playing the Dreamcast with a bunch of friends getting drunk and listening to all kinds of metal.

Anyway, that's my view on this game. Some will like, some won't. Just you do you and see how you get on with it. This gets a big tick in the success box for me. Enjoy!

Can't fault this game so far.. Except one thing.. The single gear stadium cars. They're horrible and whoever thought that was a good idea needs to get a healthy dose of the thundering bum chutney.

Love the initial progression and prologue. Having the Donut Media guys as narrators is amazing. Cars are well detailed and they drive like pre-Dirt 2.0 cars.

After reading some reviews of this, I was a bit nervous of playing it. But play it I did, and I was pleasantly surprised.

First of all the bad:
The Project CARS name hits it with a stigma that it's going to be a sim.. It's not. It's arcade-y and sim-ish.. A sim-cade! An in-between Need For Speed and Forza Motorsport.
It's a bit rubbery in 3rd person. The back end of the car doesn't seem to follow what the car is doing.
Colour is washy.
Sound isn't as good as previous pCARS games.
Settings are pretty sparse.
BREAKTHROUGH MODE NEEDS TO BE BINNED. IT IS A SIN AND WHOEVER MADE IT NEEDS TO GET THUNDERING BUM CHUTNEY FOR A MONTH.

The Good:
Very playable, easy to drive and customise cars.
Graphics are easy on less powerful GPUs.
Menus, even though they're mobile game-y, are easy to navigate.
Progression is fairly quick and car sales take a good amount of cash off.
Upgraded cars from previous classes improve higher class races.
Rivals events are a good challenge against other players without actually racing multiplayer.
Scheduled events are great to qualify for and pit you against players you're suited to.

All in all, I'd recommend this game. But not at full price. I'd get it on sale. If you're bored or just fed up of the bullcrap bans in Forza, then this is a great substitute and fills the easy hop in and out track racing void.

Being a prot from Xbox, I was expecting this to be glitchy and laggy. It wasn't! It was quick, fun, and hilarious!

I'm not good at reviews, but if I've played about 60hrs of it, and I'm still not bored The karaoke is amazing!

I haven't played much of this game, but it's pretty fast-paced and enjoying it so far! Controls could be easier and I'm still not great at using the skills and firearms.

Will update review the more I play

This game is basically time travel. Start it up and then suddenly, it's time for tea.

Winner winner chicken dinner. 8/10

1) Play level
2) Make choices
3) Watch episode based on choices
4) ?????
5) Profit

Quantum Break is a step in the right direction for science in games. The theoretical physics involved are mind-blowing. There's been a lot of research into this game, and it has paid off. The gameplay is a bit bulky, but the action, acting and graphics make up for that.

Playing this game is more like a dedication of time rather than just a casual game. For me, this game makes you think strategically and gives you a good choice of ways to play.

And just when you start to think the gameplay is enough, you get to watch a TV episode based on your choices! That's brilliant! Aidan Gillen (Game of Thrones), Shawn Ashmore (The Following [not his twin brother that played Jinx in Warehouse 13!]), Courtney Hope (Allegiant), Dominic Monaghan (Lord of the Rings), and Lance Reddick (Fringe) are just some of the brilliant cast of actors in the game, and they work together and in character really well.

Solid 9/10 for this game. Only thing that could realy improve is the clunky controls. But when you're in the game, you don't really notice it until intricate parts of a level.
