I have always loved the movie "The Thing" and I was really hoping this game would tap into that well. Unfortunately the game feels extremely wonky. Moving my character feels like he's a drunk bobblehead. Interacting feels awkward and non descriptive. I hope things change for the better over time, but right now its in rough shape.

So to start off, I enjoy the game...but there are some really bad aspects.
First of all, building. You make us put a square peg in a round hole, placement is atrocious, the design of how stairs/ramps work are the most idiotic thing I've ever experienced, and why is there building decay if they are 49% in the circle?
Want to know how to fix this? Remove building requirements to place anything. Learn from ARK's mistakes and make all buildings have no clipping. Don't make the mistake of somehow balancing this game around PVP and saying it makes it unfair to not have buildings clip. Worry about that later. Make all buildings that have attached parts within a base never decay. So yes, if there is a foundation that is 1% in the circle and 3 walls technically have 0% in the circle...none decay.
Fix these first, as the AI of the Pals isn't optimized and if you can at least build a "pen" around them all without an issue, the AI portion can be handled over time.

I'm gonna be "that" guy and leave a review in hopes that it helps the issue get noticed. There is an issue in game and it has been going on for quite some time now. The devs are aware of it and have given no updates to lead us to believe its getting fixed. I'm just gonna share the link and let things go as they will:

They issue has been resolved, so this game gets the thumbs up...for now :)

Honestly, its probably one of the best simulation/resource management games out there. Mod support is top notch and the Devs, frankly, are just awesome.

Enjoyment is nerf/heavy nerf dependant.
This used to be one of my favorite games that reminded me of Diablo 2...but now, this league in specific (Archnemesis), makes it feel like the Diablo 3 release. The mobs are broken af and there is no longer a way to enjoy the game.
Every once and a while they do something 'okay' but the amount of time you need to invest per league now is increasing. This game does not respect your time. The grind is crazy for how long it takes to get what you used to back in Ritual League. Its still 'ok' as a title because no one has done it better yet, but there's soo much potential that was just taken away.

Currently there is an issue where you try to sell contraband goods in a non outlaw area...and lose money. Pretty obvious that this isn't intended, however...until its fixed there's no point to play the new content. It shows contraband value to bait you in, but in reality when you mouse over it, you're getting less. They fixed that ^

I don't know what they keep doing to this game to remove compatibility with an Xbox 360 controller, but for the life of me...I cannot get the D-Pad to work at all after the building update.

Other than my controller gripe, I find myself coming back to this game to play it here and there. So I approve of their continued direction of the game.

People gave the game a lot of hate, but I didn't really encounter any game breaking bugs and found it enjoyable.

Free and Mouse Inversion issue was fixed.
