I feel that i have played for long enough to be able to write a justified review for this now, and perhaps also explain some things that i wish i had understood when i purchased the game.
When starting out it does feel a little odd, as it is different to what you would expect, but when you overcome that the game is incredible, the map is huge, and npc characters and quests are great, there are so many of them to keep you going, and it is so difficult to not get sidetracked in the middle of a quest, and go and explore the world.
The community is great, something i fear may be destroyed if this game ever went free to play, which i really hope it doesn't, i am happy to pay for it.
However, one thing i wish i had realised when starting was that you are limited to where you can go by the starting alliance you choose, so for example i started in the dagerfall covenant, so i am unable to go to Skyrim or Morrowind yet, however, when you reach Rank 50, or veteran rank, then you are able to unlock another area, so as i am in the daggerfall covenant, the next area i unlock is the aldmeri dominion, and then later on i can unlock the ebonheart pact.
This is not a major issue, but it does perhaps try and make you rush so you can get into new areas.
There really are no limitations as to how you want to play, for example, i am a sorceror, however there is nothing stopping me equipping heavy armour, and running around with a giant axe. or i could choose to try and be stealthy with a bow, something that if i wanted to do on another MMO, say WOW, i would have to create a new character.

PVP is something i have attempted to do, however i feel i will have to become a much higher level before being able to make a real impact.

Dungeons are great, and working as part of a team is extremely fun, also all loot is random so there is no loot stealing, as each player gets a different loot.
The graphics are astonishing, and run really well.

One issue could perhaps be that of distance, not view but attacking enemies, if an enemy is too far away, you will not be able to hit them, or if you draw an enemy too far away from where they originally were, even if you have almost defeated them, they could suddenly have all there health back and run off.
Joining and creating guilds, with so many different people is great, and people are so helpful as well.

I am finding it a little difficult to say how i feel about this without sounding extremely biased towards it, but thats the point im trying to make, so many people told me not to bother with this, others told me to play WOW or another MMO, but i ignored them, i tried WOW, and chose this instead. But seriously, just try it, even if not from steam and you buy the key somewhere else that is cheaper, grab it, and give it a go.
After playing the beta i decided to wait a while before purchasing this, and during the beta we were provided with the opportunity to play as those who would purchase the imperial edition, so we had access to the imperial class, and a horse.
If you are trying to decide whether to spend the extra cash and purchase the imperial edition, then what you get is a class that is more suitable for the role of a tank, specialising in sword and shield, with heavy armour. You will also recieve a mudcrab vanity pet, which serves no purpose other than to follow you round. Also you recieve a horse which is equivalent to the 15,000 horse in game, so the cheapest one, however it is white. Finally you have the choice to play as any race in any alliance, which could be good, but i prefer to play in the factions that are meant to be played by each race.
Personally, i knew i wanted to be a Breton sorceror, specialising in conjuration, so i did not buy the imperial edition.
But yeah, i love this game and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys the elder scrolls.

Well, i had been looking forward to this game for quite a long time, it looked like it would be a mixture of assassins creed and the lord of the rings, which was always good.. The scenery looks amazing, the music is nice, and the story keeps you interested...
However that said, the story is very, very short... and then when finished, it does feel like you have only played about half of the game, DLC from the season pass should come out soon, but it does still leave you wanting more.
So after i finished the game after about 6 hours, i decided i would try and get the achievements, which are your standard, collect so many of this and kill so many of that, with the odd tricky one thrown in, freeing slaves is boring after the first island, as it is literally just going in and doing the same thing over and over again.
The nemesis system is all very well, and yes it is cool that if you are killed by an orc they become a captain and can then become a war chief, and still remember you and insult you like everyone else in the game, but the novelty soon wears off, and can be a bit of a pain if wanting a specific captain to go to a certain position, which you need to do on more than one occasion.
I do think that it is a very good game, if short, and DLC should extend the fun, it's just the landscape is all a bit samey, and it can seem a bit repetitive after a while.

On looking at this game about a week ago my first impression was that it would be a rubbish port over from the windows phone. I had a look in the windows store and the reviews seemed mixed, most people complaining about microtransactions and such.
However i thought i would give it a try nonetheless, and to my surprise it is actually quite nice... No, it isn't your typical first person, shoot everything type of Halo, or even a top down RTS like Halo Wars, but what we do have, is a nice little top down, arcade style shooter in which you play through a series of missions, set in a simulation taking place before the events of Halo 4.
I have played about 5 hours so far, and it has been fun, there are no microtransactions that i can see, however when you begin a mission, you choose your loadout, you can either use the default one, or a custom one which you use xp to choose, so i can see how they might implement it if they wish.
There are special missions, just like in other halo games, that you get xp for completing, and weekly challenges.
One thing i wouldlike to see in the future is the addition of coop, if the phone version can have it then i am sure this can too, and it would make it alot more fun. There is alot of negativity about this game, people saying it's a waste of time, and just Microsoft trying to make money. But who cares if it is? it's cheap, it's Halo, and it's on Steam. So give it a try :)

I know this may sound really silly, but this is one of the best games i have ever played... everything about it is fun, from the characters to the level design, and the music to the story... In terms of difficulty, the game is as difficult as you make it to basically a situation arises, and you type in a word and whatever you type in appears in front of you... situations can be overcome simply, or by taking a more extravagant approach, for example in one mission you have to defend a base from attack, it says to spawn an army, so i spawned an army of alien robots, wearing jetpacks and firing laser rifles... this is just a little of what the game has to offer.. rewarding you for creating things at random too, and there are many guides out there that can help :)

Such a fun game :D thought i'd try it out, and love it. Lots of characters, and the courses change as you go through them, so it doesn't get boring :)

So i decided i would try to get into the Batman games, and gave this one a go. i found it very fun. I fully expected a game in which you went in all guns blazing and just killed everything, but what i got was a game where you had to sit up high above everyone, and think about how to tackle a situation. I played this game on normal difficulty and finished it in 12 hours. However that was just the main story, if i went back and found all of riddlers trophies it would take considerably longer, normal difficulty was certainly very challenging, dying many times and getting very frustrated. I played the game with the mouse and keyboard, but would advise on the gamepad if you have access to one, as it can get a bit fiddly when facing multiple enemies.
Overall this game was very fun, i got it on humble bundle with Arkham City which i will start playing straight away.
There is a free roaming element to this game, however it's mostly indoors, with one outdoor area, that isn't entirely massive.
