do people care about these anymore? i mean really, i thought steam was a neat social space as a kid, but now im old and apathetic. i no longer find joy in the day to day interactions with strangers in online games. i dont make internet friends anymore. i just play games for a quick dopamine hit when im exceedingly bored. i play games to watch numbers go up. to waste money. in a way my own profile is a game. buying cards to craft badges to watch my xp go up. buying games during summer sales to watch my xp go up and my steam points go up. i dont even buy anything with my steam points anymore. i have a pretty profile already. why am i here? why do i keep steam open on my pc perpetually just to play a game for 30 minutes every few days. what was i made for? love? brilliance? passion? kindness? or just to clock in once more, day after soul-grinding day to do the same job. i dont know anymore. i dont know anything.
