Don't give your money to these jerks, Atari is slandering a good name. If you want a true sequel just buy Planet Coaster, it's from the same developers that made RollerCoaster Tycoon 3

So many negative reviews and I really don't understand why, if you still play Rome II it's because you are a Total War player. If you play the new Total War games, it's because you like the game genre, but you're not a serious Total War player...

This DLC is really what this game needed, for quite a while we haven't had a new map and this brings a whole new freshness to the game. Besides that we get new units, new factions, new strategies for diplomacy. Yes the campaign is quite hard, but it's a challenge a lot of people should want. I had to replay 3 times before I actually got somewhere, and no wonder. It's a new map, and new factions no old strategies work anymore.

This DLC is overall great, 16 euro is still a lot for something which is basically just an expansion to a now 7 year old game. However, If it was at a 10 euro price I would think the price was fair. If you don't care about the 16 euro price and you are longing after some challenge, a freshness feel and the Roman era theme, then I would recommend this DLC in particular.

The game feels short when you play the different campaigns, you can get through the campaigns relatively easy. The game overall is quite easy, if you are an experienced TW player. How ever the game does have really cool expansions and thousands of mods that make the game even better, I would actually say that this is probably the best TW game out there when you add in the amount of mods available. However at a 54.99€ price tag you should not buy it, get a cheap code on G2A or something or wait for steam sales, Rome II is quite often below 20€ when new sales arrive... The fact that CA is still actively updating a 2013 TW game, and creating new DLC is also a really good reason to play this game.

Short analysis:

Diplomacy = Good (but easy, can be tweaked with mods)
Battles = Good
Mod availability = REALLY GOOD
Paid DLCs = REALLY GOOD

Buy the game, but not for 54.99€

Take-Two Interactive ruined the modding community. Everything that was so great about GTA IV and GTA V modding wise is now erased from existence. RIP OpenIV.

Modding is now illegal... After 16 years og GTA games where modding was a huge bonus with the awesome games Rockstar makes, they now choose that an almost decade year old modding tool (which is GTA Online friendly, doesn't interfear with the GTA Online experience) is now banned for an unknown reason. Don't buy GTA V or any other Take-Two interactive titles before this is resolved MORALLY...

If you are wondering what games are owned by Take-Two interactive check their website and keep a look out for those games. Don't buy them.

Got the achievement "GG" when I destroyed a bridge... Enough said.

If you want a serious review here it is.

Pros:
New Gameplay mechanics
Great graphics for once
Character customization such as helmet, torso, boots, sex, etc.
Exo Abilities
Double Jump
Invisible Cloaking
13 item slots
Kill people by brofisting them

Cons:
No dedicated servers yet to be seen as they have promised
(Yeah that's really it, this game is magnificent)

Over all I think Activision has finally gone back to their roots and changed the game, so they aren't just releasing the same game over and over again. Seriously MW2 and MW3 was basically the same game. I normally hated Call Of Duty games just because they started making the same game but just with different textures... Their old engine was from 2007. "Too old". No but really, Call Of Duty has finally become unique.
