tadpole -- you want to run `setsebool -P allow_execheap 1` in your terminal, and I believe it requires sudo permissions. the TF2 sound caches are in the `tf/sound` folder at least, but there may be more -- the filename(s) you're looking for is `sound.cache`. i'll also cross post this to ur profile so you for sure see it ^.^

Hi, were you the one who wrote a report of TF2 on ProtonDB https://www.protondb.com/users/1531338858 ? If so, could you clarify on how to delete the sound caches and where to run the "setsebool" in, if it's okay to ask? I ran into the same issue you had but didn't really understand how to fix it 😓
