I can only say that it's a game you will love and hate, maybe at the same time.

First of all, hello to you!

I am not a great player of strategy games, and I have not played so much of this game and I don't really know the civ series (I only played the civ3 for some hours).
But what I write here are my impressions.

The game has a beautifull graphic design, no comment on this.

Where the problem arrives is when you play and don't tech up smart, just playing and trying to see the mechanics, you then see some AI playing against you and declaring war and fighting and losing and then asking you a peace, and some years after doing the exact same thing ... That is so annoying, you are playing peacefully, just trying to do your best for your population (which I don't know make me loose ...) and every time you got a warning from this one or that one AI character because you make money and research ... That is not good, I have the impression that the AI uses every thing you do as a starting point for war.

On the other hand, I like the mechanics globally, but there are some points, like understanding the population needs, maybe I'm too unexperienced but I don't really understand how to keep the population in a good mood, so sometimes the game tells me I loose...

So, I like this game, but I think some behaviours are strange and not well explained. But on this, I don't read the helps, m bad, I will take a look!

Finally, I recommend you to take a look at the review of Repairman_Jack which I found interesting :)

As usual a good game. Made for competitive playing but if you're a casual you can find some fun things to do in personalized servers =)
