Criminally-underrated game.
I played the PS2 version (I still own the version I got when I was 9), and lemme just say that the PC version is vastly superior. Playing a childhood game on a superior port years later is a magical experience, lemme tell ya.

Wow. Just wow.
I haven't beaten this game at the time of writing this review. But holy hell.
This game makes you feel things, man.

This is one of the few games where I have actually felt legitimate sympathy for the main characters. I want to see them improve as people, and interact with each other.
Yes, the characters themselves are pretty exaggerated. You wouldn't meet people like these in real life. But despite that, I still somehow feel for them.

The music is also lovely and calming in a lot of places. Really brings the small town of Possum Springs to life.

There's also a LOT to do. There's even a fun little game on your laptop that you get on...I think the third day. This little mini-game feels like a 1-5 dollar game you can buy on Steam.

I totally recommend this game. 100%.



Edit: This game is being review-bombed now. I'd like to remind people that Scott and Bethany didn't wish death on Alec. They may not have handled the situation very well, but that doesn't mean their work (and ALEC'S work) needs to be review-bombed. Alec wouldn't have wanted this.

I remember being so excited for this game to be finished.
I remember the stupid grin I had on my face when I saw the gameplay.
I remember the other people who wanted to see this game go far.

Long ago, forest-dwelling weed smokers opposed Cthulhu, and crippled him by taking away his crack pipe. Now it is up to you to finish off his decrepit crack corpse before he once again regains his crack and becomes unstoppable.
