I've never appreciated the accuracy of a mouse more than when I started this game on controller.

Neon White is in some ways similar to clustertruck in my mind, if anyone has played that. It's a speedrunning game that takes place over bursts of action, allowing you to either shoot the weapon card in hand, or tear it up for a certain level of movement. Every split decision counts - tear the card at the wrong time, or aim your shot wrong, and you've lost precious seconds of your run. It's addicting.

I love seeing my friends times, and competing internally with them. I love the satisfaction of clearing a difficult level, or seeing the platinum appear next to it. And maybe, most importantly, god I love anime cringe dialogue. You've got the Spike Spiegal (Steve Blum) as the titular Neon White, and I enjoy every interaction, quip and character moment in the game.

A game for speed freaks, religious trauma kids and weebs god bless.

Most in depth dating sim I've ever played 10/10

Vampire Survivors is a game that makes me nostalgic for an era of games I've never even played. That joy of arcades that 80's retro movies are desperate to sell you on is right here, packaged neatly inside a super accessible, wildly addictive rouge-like. Every chest opening sound effect, every level completion, every aspect of the game feels so satisfying. I love a build game, and finding your favourite weapons and builds is such a joy.

If you want a game you can dip in and out of, vampire survivors is a game for you. If you want a game to challenge yourself and 100% achievements, it's a game for you. If you're looking for a game with a fun easy coach co op where you can talk to your friends and still play, surprisingly, vampire survivors is a game for you.
